What's the worst restaurant in WDW?

We've just never had the stomach-churning experiences some people have at WDW - lucky us!

Having said that, I've had two strikes at the ABC Commissary. Not awful, but just not very good ... and there were four of us who felt that way. I won't say I'll never be back, but it'll take some convincing.

Pepper Market at Coronado Springs. This was more of a service issue (as in non-existant, really) than a quality one. (I will say the manager made it right, and made it right in SPADES.)

The only TS place that I was more than mildly disappointed in was the Concourse Steakhouse. But it was early New Year's Eve, and I'm willing to give them another try (without DW, who said "never again." Guess I'm just a bit more gracious.)

This all calls to mind that whole "one man's trash is another man's treasure" saying. We really like 'Ohana and Boma, which has shown up here a couple of times. And for us, Tusker House is the best CS spot in any of the parks.

But that's just me.

For us it would be Cape May. HORRIBLE food - even DS(16) who normally eats anything resembling food thought it was nasty.

Oh my gosh seriously?? I have that on my ADR's (because it's a character meal) and 2 of you said the same thing about the food:scared1: Is it worth it for the character part??? I understand that everyone has different likes & dislikes but 2 for "cold, slimy"?????
there are breakfasts with better food. but we had stitch all to ourselves in the low season last year. he took my hat, took our camera and took pics of us
banged the coffee mug. it was early in the morning during low season, and he hung out for 15 min. and again for a while after we ate.

I'd rather chef mickey or park fare for better food.

We weren't keen on Hollywood & Vine, have tried it twice and there's something missing there, felt rushed and the buffet choices weren't great.

I have to agree that Tonys has been the worst experience for us. We did not even eat our food including my son whom loves spaghetti.

SOME OF OUR FAVS

ohanas
garden gill

I didn't like 1900 Park Fare. I didn't think anything there was worth eating, and no one else in my group was satisfied either! San Angel is quite disappointing too, but living in California, I have pretty high expectations for Mexican food!

My votes for worst go to:
ABC Commissary in MGM
Sci-Fi Dine-In at MGM
Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station (not even edible)
Pepper Market breakfast at CSR

Also, if I can help it, I'm not probably going to go back to: Coral Reef, Mama Melrose, Chefs de France, Liberty Tree Tavern, Columbia Harbour House, and Concourse Steakhouse.. . just too many other fun places waiting to try or good enough for a return trip :)

rose and crown got my vote!!!lots of nothing for alot of$$$$$$$i donnt consider a guppy size fish dinner a meal

Make that 3 against the Garden Grill. We ate there for the first time in March and I was excited, but man, was that a bad meal. Our waiter disappeared. the meal took forever!

We said my mom had a food allergy (allergic to gluten, i.e. bread), and the waiter then decided not to bring ANY of us rolls or ANY of us breaded catfish.

Then when the main course was served, they forgot about my mother's food allergy and served her food (the meat had sauce with gluten in it) she could not eat.

The turkey was like something you get out of a can -- not fresh, definitely SLIMY. The only good thing was that my kids enjoyed the "make your own cupcakes" at the end.

Character interaction was also the worst we have ever experienced.

I guess I learned a lesson: if you can "walk in" at 6:00pm to a TS restaurant with no ADRs and get seated .. warning bells should be going off!

Pecos Bills that was the worst meal we've had so far. The wrap I had was tasteless, until I bit into something hard and cracked a tooth. That's one place I will never darken the door of again.

I know folks won't believe me but the absolute worst food I had was at Ohana. The meat was tough, almost inedible. The veggies were cold. For being hyped up about how good it was supposed to be, we were absolutely disgusted. We figure we just hit a bad day and the wrong cow, chicken & fish. But we won't go back.

I so agree with you about O'hana. I'm glad I'm not alone! I found the meat to be tough and unappealing and the veggies tasteless. Nothing else was particularly great either. We were absolutely disgusted and were still trying to digest that food the next day!

Hollywood and vine, I am a picky eater and prefer food to be bland, but this was too bland for me. The choices were slim too. However, our service was ok but not good enough for us to go back

This is too easy for me :goodvibes

For TS it's Tony's Town Square-worst meal anywhere, not just WDW!

worst CS place-ABC Commissary in MGM-food was horrible

Another one for ABC Commissary at MGM!!. It was so bad we threw it in the Trash and got a snack until our ADR for Dinner later that night.

The only real bad meal we have had was at Olivia's at the Old Kest West resort. The food & service were just terrible. :)

Plus, when you can time it right, a great view of Wishes over at MK.

Tell me, oh wise Robo, what time is "time it right"? That would be so great for our upcoming trip!!!!

Just by the by; I really enjoy your posts and put a lot of stock in what you have to say!!!!
