Hey everyone!!
What amazing job some of you have done with all of these sale sneak peaks!!
How do I get an ad to take with me to get a price match at Walmart? We dont have a toys r us or any other toy store here. But I would still love to be able to get the prices they are having for BF!!
Also, I really need a laptop for my hubby. I saw that someone posted a doorbuster for a sony at best buy for 399. Anybody seen anything better? It needs to be a realiable brand and preferably without the new VISTA! I have heard bad things about it. Please help me out!! Thank you so much

I ordered mine from Dell just so it wouldn't have VISTA. They are having really good deals, I got a desktop for $350 off, I am not sure about the laptop deals but it would be worth checking out the website.

Ok, so the difference in Plasma and LCD. This is what I know or think I do
LCD has the highest resolutions, is lighter weight, and more energy efficient.
1080 is the highest resolution that we can see.
p is acutally for progressive scanning. (there is also the less common 1080i)

Another thing I learned today, You should get a screen that is Distance in inches/3= screen size. Or screen size x 3 = recommended viewing distance in inches.

Will tickets be needed for DVD's at Best Buy? I'm going after several TV season sets and Hairspray

I just looked at the ads on bestbuy.com and it said tickets needed for the electronics (went through and listed them all)...none needed for the movies.

Walmart wouldn't give me a price difference when something went onsale with just the receipt (two weeks apart). She told me I had to bring the item in and return it and then buy it at the sale price. I was pretty annoyed but I came in the next day and did just that.

I had to laugh when I read this .. I had the same issue .. So I purchased the sale item and took it back to the customer service with my original receipt .. Of course she rolled her eyes . But I got my refund..

How to Shop the Friday Doorbusters Specials at Best Buy

Hoping to get in on the amazing deals at Best Buy on Friday, November 23? You'll need to get there early in the morning, way before the stores open at 5 a.m.

Here are a few things to know before you go:

Prior to opening, a line of customers will form outside the store.

Starting at 3 a.m., with the front of the line, employees will hand out tickets to customers for Doorbuster and Bonus Doorbuster products (these are the front cover and BestBuy.com limited-quantity items, excluding CDs, DVDs and video game software).

The tickets, limited to 1 ticket per customer per item, will grant you the ability to buy the Doorbuster items.

These tickets are valid for a limited time. The products requiring a ticket must be purchased, or in your hand, by 9 a.m. This is when the remaining inventory, if available, will be released to the general public.

We are unable to guarantee all customers in line will receive a ticket. See Customer Specialist for details.

I got my DS this for Xmas last year. I ended up getting the best deal through Barnes and Noble.

I had to join but even with the member fee the discount for members along with the 25% off coupon made it more than worth it

I didn't want to spend the $ as I thought that was one expensive lego set, but my DS wanted it ever since he saw an add for it at the DTD lego store. And... he loves it!!! Perfect gift for his age and he gets a lot of use out of it!

I have never camped out the night before at a store, usually I am after sporting goods and as long as you are there when they open then all is good. But, this year is different I am planning on electronics. Can anyone tell me what time you have to be in line to get the computer and camcorder deals? I know every store is different but, the computer says they have a min. of 10 of one item (the least of my wants) then 15 of the camcorder and 20 of the computer. I don't want to have to be there longer then I have to but, this year I have made up my mind that I am going to do it.

In my area, you need to be at the store by 9pm Thursday night. By 8pm last year, there was about 150 people in line at Best Buy(complete with tents and gas heaters ), about 80 at Circuit City, Walmart, Target, Toys R US, Gamestop and Staples had about 30-40 each.
(we took a tour of the stores after dinner on our way home)

I can't find the policies online, but I know Target doe NOT price match anymore. They stopped a while ago.
