Hey John1...

Did the boxers itch??? :rolleyes1

Nope. Didn't even know anything until I reached in my pocket for some change and felt that rivet . . . :rotfl2:

We will have to experiment with the panties though . . . I especially don't think I would recommend them for a thong . . .:rotfl2:

Good Night!

Jacinda really really wants to parasail HOWEVER the "excursion" says you have to be 8 years old so shes got that but then it says and at least 80 pounds. Needless to say poor Jacinda has a few years to go on that one!

Wilson agreed that he'd do it with me the other night when we had excursion talk with dinner, then we saw the 80 pound rule, oh well. Another time I guess.

I'm working on my excursions and Palo ressies and thought I'd pass on which ones were already sold out:

Cabo
Baja 1000 Test Track
Sportfishing
Nikki Beach Escape
Regatta Yacht Racing

PV
Banderas Bay Sailing Adventure
Dophin Sig Swim
Trainer for a Day
Amphibian Adventure
Outdoor Adventure
Pirate Boat Sail
Sea Lion

Hope this helps with your planning...

This is probably a stupid question, but what is OT?

Occupational Therapy, rather than PT Physical Therapy. I can't be sure to give a good definition for the difference and when I do it makes my OT sister pissed off since I get them wrong. :lmao:

Done last Saturday, and my State refund is pending to post direct deposit today. Still waiting on the federal and am hoping it arrives before my PIF credit card bill!

I guess I can go to bed at 1 am or so, in about 12 hours I get to leave to see Hannah in 3d. I told Amy I am taking my iPod. I am listening to a Steven King book that has me pretty riveted (or rhinestoned)- The Talisman. Wonder if I can hear a couple of chapters with little girls screaming, and the scent of sweet cotton candy perfume in the air . . . ?

Molly got that for Xmas, glad that someone can appreciate it :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Thanks, really! I had people who had lost theirs after 1 day of having them. I wanted to ask them if they needed me to sew it into their backpack for them. Sorry, my angry voice is getting the best of me.

I really appreciate the positive reinforcement!

I made the stupid mistake of mailing my clients W-2 home to him. He is the CEO, he can't be trusted, what was I thinking????

I have the same plan for our refunds :thumbsup2

Talisman was great - the sequel, Black House, is pretty good too.

ok I have to confess, since John is gone...Paul got me some uhmmm interesting underwear the other day. Kinda a jungle girl outfit. It was DIS lime green. What was he thinking that I could wear that and think it was sexy???:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Oh ya, it's coming on the cruise. You'll never see me in it, but it's coming.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

How about the Villa in Cabo, still there?

While I'm confessing....we went to Walmart tonight. Wilson had his gift card for popcorn sales incentives and he wanted to get a ninetendo chip. Walmart is near Krispy Kreme. Yup another round of donuts...not the same as what was on that 8 list huh?

Well Deb, she just took them out of my drawer . . .

She wanted to practice her new toy, but Lord knows why she picked a pair of my boxers to practice on. I forgot about it, and have absolutely no idea how I did not notice when I first put them on after my shower. During the day, I kept thinking I was feeling a rivet from my Levis . . . nope, rhinestone.

Now remember now that they are bedazzled... you cannot use them as dust rags... won't want to scratch the furniture...

This is a whole other story . . .

My Sophia is a shy one about stuff like this. Kim understands completely. Will not go anywhere without mom or dad. So while Sophia got to be a courtside kid and sit on the side of the court while the teams warmed up, Dad got to be a courtside dad. She would NOT go anywhere with the nice Cavaliers people or the other kids without me. When they saw this, they were nice about it, and told me I could sit in one of the courtside seats to be near her. I was the ONLY parent anywhere nearby.

I kept waiting for someone to come and kick me out of their $750 courtside Jack Nicholson type seat. We made it through all the warmups with no incident. The cool thing was I could take a picture of her on the court easy since I was there, and had a nice conversation with one of the girls who takes them out who also told me she was just like Sophia and now Dances for the Cavaliers on the court - didn't tell Amy about that!

Told you to stay away from the cheerleaders... ;)

My problem is I enjoy buying new supplies rather than using them so I'm a collector!

Ya me too... I've got BOXES of cross stitch stuff...

This is probably a stupid question, but what is OT?

Occupational Therapy... the reason I can use my hands again after surgeries..

Nope. Didn't even know anything until I reached in my pocket for some change and felt that rivet . . . :rotfl2:

Lucky me I don't have a thong... I always thought they had those scratchy things on the back...not rivets... now that's different...

Steph:

Do you find that you are worried more than she is about this? That seems to be our case. Molly is forever a happy girl and just never sees the down side to life. I totally think she is blessed. I've never been that kind of person. I see the whole picture, good and bad and then I worry. Not that worry helps mind you.

Molly has another friend, Bailey who is in 4th grade and while they don't see each other all the time they are very close. They have some of the same issues and I think there is safety in having a friend who is like you are. I'm anxious for the girls to meet and like each other, but nervous too, sometimes what we mommys want do seem to be what our girls want. See worrying again. ok, I'm laying off it now.:scared1:

Acutally, I am not so worried. I was more worried about her dads reaction. He is not taking it well, and I'm afraid there will be fall out. He and I have a communication problem. ( we don't like to communicate with each other!:rotfl2: ). His GF is very nice and taylor likes her alot. I think it's more of an internal problem in taylor that she has not/will not share with her parents. Just the therapist. We'll get it straightened out. She's a good kid.
Hey tablemates, I'm too lazy to pm, so I'm asking here. Do you want to Palo together?

I'm open for maybe one or 2, but for sure Paul and I want to have one romantic meal just the 2 of us. Let me know what ya think...

Also, when I called and pif I asked about our group dining @ Palo I was told, sometimes they are linked and sometimes not. Flukey software was what the CM said. I find that to be odd, but likely with what I've seen of DCL online in the past. She told me to make the ressie you want and then look at the bottom of the page to click who is coming and don't click those who aren't Clear as mud 'eh?
I'm down with palo as many times as possible. So yes yes yes...
First I will admit -I have not read all 302 pages of this thread (Man you people talk a lot :scared1: ) so pardon me if this has been asked and answered.

My wife just informed me that she wants us to join in on the Bunko during the WB -- is this still going on? I was going to PM DisneyLover5 as stated at the beginning of this thread (Oh so many pages ago!) but they do not show up on the list???

Welcome!
Hello Everyone:

Not sure if I have posted on here for this cruise or not but wanted to say hello. As the date gets closer it seems to be coming more of a reality. We have cruised with DCL already and are so excited to be doing the Panama Canal cruise. There are five of us going on this cruise. Myself, my husband and our three little girls (almost 7, 9 and 11 years old). They would be very interested in writing to other girls their own age if anyone out there is interested.

Unfortunately, I haven't read very many of the posts on this board. Not sure if there has been a discussion about the possible movies playing or not but we are interested in hearing if anyone knows what might be playing.

We got a call from DCL this past week asking if we were still interested in a category 3 room. We jumped at the opportunity. When we booked we could only get a category 4 room but really wanted a category 3. In December 2006, we did two back to back cruises. We had a category 3 for the first ten days of the holiday cruise and then had to switch to a category 4 for the next four day cruise due to availability. There was such a difference between those two rooms.

We have booked our shore excursions; however, the sea lion encounter is full so we could only get four of the five of us into that one. Sure hope another spot comes available.

Not sure of all the plans everyone has for this cruise but upon taking a quick scan of the postings it looks like there is a lot planned.

Take care and see you soon. We leave in three months today. We have rented a house in Florida for one week prior to the cruise and a room at the Grand Californian for one week after the cruise.
Welcome!
WOW our kids will all have so much in common. Mine has some trouble in school as she just does not do well bouncing around. She has three teachers for third grade (5 if you count pe and music)as they each teach different subjects and have a little different style of teaching. I have paid a tutor from school for three times a week tutoring to keep her on level but the school does not provide extra help for her since she struggles each day........... then tests in the top few percent.
Her testing causes her to get no help and also to be labeled as a child who is not putting forth enough effort day to day, and who is not interested in school.

Math wise she scored 100% on her star testing but day to day in class she struggles. She will do one thing one day then not see it for two weeks and that just doesn't work well for her. Everyone learns better in different ways and I can assure you the way she is being presented with in school does not work for her.

When she was learning to read she could not follow what she was getting in class. The tutor taught her to read during her after school sessions as she tailored the sessions to my daughter's needs and style of learning.

I really hope it gets better as she gets older but I fear it will only get worse. I am thinking a private school with a different style of teaching is what it may come to.

Hmm..maybe its the california water! hahahhaha. Today tay and I went up to sacramento to visit friends and she told her friend all about her "date" with her cruise friends. It was very cute. Also, I went to the folsom outlets with these friends. OMG, it was great. Got a ton of stuff. I'm looking forward to exploring the other outlets.

Night all.
Steph

Hi Karen...pour yourself a glass of wine, and join the fun.

At the time of this conversation (over 24 hours ago!!) I was pouring wine for a wine bar full of people!!

I had mine when I got home, don't drink at work!!:rolleyes1

Not posting much as I am still 60 pages behind!! :scared1:

Hello!

We are coming from Australia for this cruise - myself, my husband and our little girl (almost 7 at time of cruise). We are also staying for a week beforehand at CR and for a week at the end at the Hyatt - great minds think alike!!

We are also repeat cruisers - we did a 4 day Wonder, and can't wait to be on the Magic for 15 days!!!

I am SO jealous of your cat 3 room - we dont know our room yet - only cat4 GTY - heres hoping its not the worst room on the deck!!

Would love to arrange for our girls to meet, and maybe go to kids club sometimes?

As we are getting married all over again on the cruise, we were able to book at 105 days (like you lucky suite people!!), and we also had some trouble getting bookings (couldn't always get the time we wanted).

Not long now!!!!

Leanne
