We saw Michael Jackson at Epcot in 2003. He was there with his kids and was escorted by quite a few men. We have video of him, but not pictures because we were already videoing. We didn't want to disturb his trip, but later we saw a whole crowd of people waiting for him outside of a bathroom. I can't imagine interrupting someone's trip like that, famous or not.

Last year when we were doing the Keys to the Kingdom tour, our tour guide said that Joey Fatone is there all the time.

I'm a CM so this is probably totally unfair because I'm always in the parks. I've seen:

**A zillion athletes where I had no idea who they were - for example, one day when I worked at Thunder Mountain, I was loading a Guest and his party onto the train (they came in with their VIP guide) and as another Guest got off of the ride, he came up and shook the guy's hand and said how big of a fan he was. When the guy got on the ride he practically had to sit sideways because I swear he was 7 feet tall, lol

That's all I can think of!

*= I saw them
**= I met them
LOL, I never knew who the athletes were either! All the other CMs would be so excited and I'd have no idea why until they would tell me. I have to say though that I really enjoyed the athletes who came in. They were always very friendly and started conversations with the CMs when they came in to shows early

We were having dinner at Narcossee's one night & Rosie O'Donnell was at the table next to us. As a matter of fact, Rosie told her companion to move so she wouldn't block our view of the fireworks:thumbsup2 !

Aww, that was really nice of her!

We got married at WDW in 1995 and when we were leaving the Contemp early in the morning for pictures, Jack and Felicia Wagner walked out with a CM. NOONE else was around!!! He was on Melrose Place at the time, so I was SOOOOOO excited!!!

They were on their way to film "Weddings of a Lifetime" at WDW and as they got in their car I yelled "I LOVE YOU JACK!!!!!!!!!" :rotfl2: He waved and said CONGRATULATIONS!!

No wonder I am smiling so BIG in my wedding pics!! :lmao:

Amy

Saw Kelly Ripa and her husband and kids in Epcot World Showcase.
Saw Brian Doheneny (I know I spelled that wrong) at the Haunted Mansion
Saw Jamie Sellier and David (No way I can spell that) the Candian Couple who were involved in the Gold Medal fiasco at the Salt Lake Olympics in World Showcase.

I don't take pictures of the them.. I think it's thier vacation too!

Saw and met Vincent D'Onofrio from Law & Order CI at MVMCP in '05. He's wonderful, really made my day :lovestruc .

I saw Jason Kidd at Epcot twice last October. Well actually I had no idea who he was but my husband is a big basketball fan and recognised him instantly. He was on the car behind us on Journey to Imagination with his family and VIP tour guide, then we saw him again at the Mexico Pavillion, his kids looked like they were having loads of fun.

Jackie Chan (played Dreamcast with him at Innoventions on '00)
Brian Krause (checked him in when he stayed at FW, he's super nice and easy to look at :rotfl: )
BB Mac (the British "boy band")
Joey Fatone (he's a former CM and lives local, so he's on property all the time)
Brooke Hogan
MDO (one of the incarnations of Menudo)
Most of the dancers from Dancing With the Stars
Ian McKellen and his DH Sean Mathias.

And my favorite: John Leguizamo. He's one of the nicest, most down-to-earth celebrities I've met, and he's a great dad. He also signed my copy of "To Wong Foo" for me :rotfl2:

Now that I am jealous of! I love him!!!

OMG!! I am going for the first time in December and will be on the lookout for celebrities!!!

Ok..so not at Disney..but! About 10-12 years ago I was working as a waitress in a Japanese restaurant in Memphis when this guy a the bar says "My brother would love you...I'm gonna call him up here to meet you" So I was like "huh?" and here he comes in....Woody Harrelson!!! They were shooting a movie (can't remember the name but Courtney Love was in it), Woody, his brother too. He introduced me and I shook hands with him!
Thought it was kinda weird though..he's married with children, and a few days later brought his entire family to eat!

(Oh by the way..I was NOT impressed with Woody..he was not very friendly so I guess he didn't like me as much as his brother had thought..:lmao: )

My husband did electrical work at David Guess' house in Memphis...he's VERY odd...(the one that was married to Elizabeth Taylor)

So I do hope I see a celebrity at Disney but I don't know that I can bring myself to interrupt their vacation..

My Aunt, Cousin and I went to MK for the day and we went past Big Thunder. We saw this guy from the back and it looked like Mitchell. My cousin tripped (on purpose) and he turned around. IT WAS MITCHELL! We got his autograph.

Later on at school I found out that my math teacher's daughter was dating him. Thats probably why the girl with him looked familiar. Hmmmmmm....

Something to think about.

I saw Miley Cyrus in January get onto Thunder Mountain... i think she was doing like a meet and greet with a winner of some contest because the little girls she was with on the ride looked like she was about to die with excitement. The little girl had a Hannah Montana shirt on and her mom was snapping like a million pics. CM's were everywhere, making sure everything went smoothly. We left, because it was getting hectic. i think she left immediately after because we didn't hear about her for the rest of the day... my DF took a pic, so i will go back and look for it. It was the same day that People magazine took her pic on the ride and put it in their magazine a week or two later...

And I saw NSync do their Christmas special back in like 1998 or 1999. Good times! Love me some NSync from back in the day!

Years ago we saw 98 Degrees (Nick Lachey's boy band) at the Animal Kingdom, they were filming for the Christmas parade. Last October we went to GF for breakfast and saw Joe Flanigan from Stargate Atlantis. He was very cute in person.

A previous poster talked about how short Sylvester Stallone is, I met him at a Flyers game years ago, I was a senior in HS and was so devastated to see him in person. I am tall 5'9", and he looked like he was about 5'8". Sometimes it does not pay to meet a celebrity it can be a total let down!!

This is a story from my boys godmother. She went to Disney on her honeymoon 16 years ago and saw John Travolta. They were in line for something and got their picture taken with him. She said he was very nice.

Interesting thread! Will keep eyes open in September but stay back as not to interrupt someone's vacation!

Wow lucky you! I so miss NSync!!!! They really need to get back together one more time, don't ya think?? ;)

Last summer my family saw the retired tennis player Martina Navratilova in DTD. She was by herself with a cast member. My dad got up enough nerve to go up and ask her for an autograph (which she kindly gave him), but no picture!

Quite a while ago, I was still in college, my mom, then fiance, and I were all staying at the Grand Floridian. One day, we were walking through the lobby, and saw Hulk Hogan.

Holy moley is he soooooo tall in person! I just couldn't believe it, so we didn't walk up to him so as not to distrub his vacation, but it was him. Later we saw him, his wife, and kids (they were little then) playing at the pool.

It's one of my favorite celebrity sightings, because I realized he's just a normal guy who wants to take a vacation with his family, like everyone else.:thumbsup2
