We've been on the Disney Cruise twice. For our honeymoon (three night) and our 5 year anniversary(week). It was AWESOME!!! The 7 night cruise was so cool... but it would be too expensive for the four of us.

So I'm going to do it!!! I'm throwing Budget and Good Judgement into the wind and I'm going to go for it!!!
This is going to be the best-es trip ever!!!
I can't wait to plan all the details. The only real snag is getting a passport for Shawn.
I'm thinking about telling him I want to go to Canada for our anniversary this year - and then last minute pull the plug on that trip. (he won't care, he doesn't want to go to Canada anyway)
That's all I can come up with... Do you guys have any ideas???

OK Step two is completed!!!! I just got off the phone with my friend and she is going to rent me some vacation club points and we get to stay at a studio at the WILDERNESS LODGE!!!!! Wilderness Lodge was my first choice anyway - but it is a little more expensive - BUT they didn't have any available rooms at Animal Kingdom.

This is when it's going to get harder to keep a secret... I'm glad I have you guys to talk to.

So I don't have any big updates - but if you look at the time I am up WAY to early. I haven't slept well at all in the last three nights. And the crazy thing is - it's not Skylar's fault. She is still sleeping!!! I just watch her sleep most of the night cause I can't fall asleep myself. uggg!!!
Some of it is "I'm too excited to sleep." But if that lasts for the next 6 months until my trip, I may just be a zombie.

ANYWHO - I thought I would share some new pictures with you because I am a proud mommy

Skylar ate her first solids!!! Well I guess it's still mushed up bananas but it's the closest thing to a 'solid' she'll get. (maybe I was inspired by the dancing bananas)

Then the little bugger wanted to do it herself! (she's growing up so fast!)

Here's Dexter...

Skylar will be 5 months on the 7th, and I always said I was going to wait until she was 6months before she ate solids - BUT she kept on watching me eat and crying when I wouldn't give her any... so I figured it was time.

She is a VERY big girl... she's 26.5 in. long!!! That's the size of some 9month olds!! OK that's enough proud mommy talk.

OK I lied - one more thing...

Yep - Skylar will be about 7 days shy of one when we are on are why home. Hopefully she'll be walking. Then she can try out her little legs on the boat.

So Guys - - I think I am going a little crazy. I now am ready to admit that I am a Disney-aholic
Well... I have been wanting to join the DVC for a long time... about 3-4 years and we have always said that we have to wait. WELL a really good deal came up that we did feel we could pass up. It's only 100 points BUT that means it's only $124 a month + $39 fee that we start paying in May09(for 10 years, rather then $265) I figured it's kind of like saving for a trip.. but instead of staying at POP, for around the same amount we can now stay a Deluxe hotels!!!! And after the ten years it's like were going for FREE!!!!
The only catch is that our points don't start until the new DVC at the Animal Kingdom Lodge opens. So we are still going as planed (well as I have planned.. hee hee) in January. Shawn's funny.. he is sad that we can't use our points and have to stay a POP one last time. He said that he really wishes we could make that trip special since he hasn't gone in a really long time. I told him that maybe will save some money so that he can do an extra tour or something
