I'm going with my family and fellow DISer (also cousin) TheAXIOM from the 10th - 12th. I'm pretty stoked because we're bringing 2 first timers and 2 people who haven't been to DLR for 20 years !! I'm so excited. OOH! .. and we're also going to Mickey's Trick or Treat Party and have NEVER done it before. We're gonna have a blast ! I'm really excited

You know, WazowskiLOVER, I think I told you before that the dates I had to pick for PPH were October 3 - 5, simply because the rooms for the PIN discount were all booked up on the weekend that my friend preferred, which is the same weekend you are going. So I told my friend when I made the 3-5 reservations that if anything opens up for the 10-12, I will switch immediately (of course, there are openings, but not with the PIN discount). I have to keep checking back with Central Reservations every few days. If I am able to switch, I will be there on EXACTLY the same days as you and your family! In which case, we will have to all make a point of meeting up to say hello!!

The first timers are gonna be Brenda and my cousin's wife's brother. Haha, thats a mouth full!! Also my cousin and his wife are the ones who haven't been for 20 years. Talk about a long time! My Dad is taking my two kids(DD15, DS12) OCt 23-28th, and I. Haven't decided which day to do the Trick or treat party, and are staying at the Candy Cane. Can't wait...........

...And if my plans stay the way they are now, I will be there at the same time as you, a couple of days shorter, from October 3-5. (I am trying to switch to Oct. 10-12). Maybe I will see you over at Carnation or at Wine Country Trattoria (I know we both like to eat there from the "Favorite Dining Spot thread)! I know Cseca is also there during this time, and someone else I am forgetting, but there are quite a few of us!

I know my friend traveling with me will be happy if we can switch to October 10-12. The friends we are meeting at the parks don't care if the date is October 3-5 or the 10-12. I don't know if I have a preference at the moment. We were lucky to get in on any weekend in October with the PIN discount, so I am grateful to have the 3rd - 5th slot. It is turning out to be a busy season at Disneyland after all, even though overall attendance is supposedly down. I guess they were smart to just keep adding things like more special Halloween stuff and discount hotel rooms to attract more visitors.

Anyway, I will definitely let you know if I am able to switch to the October 10-12 weekend! And then we MUST say hello in person!

We will be celebrating my friends 50th birthday with a girl's only trip Oct 30th-Nov 1st. We are staying at Paradise Pier and have going to the Halloween party on the 31st.

Oct 13-17th. Staying first at the HOJO (2 nights) then switching to Dolphin Cove!! Might do the Trick or Treat party on the 16th.

We are going to be there from Oct 19-Oct 26. There will be 4 of us....myself, DH, DS (9), & DD (7). Staying at the HoJo. We are meeting up in Anaheim with another couple as well so I guess technically there will be 6 of us.

Hi Snoozan!

Looks like we'll be at the HoJo part of the same time as you! We're coming in on the 29th and leaving 11/03. My last trip to DL was 8 years ago and I'm so much more familiar with WDW! Good thing there's a dedicated DL board to help point me in the right direction or I would have planned to take my son for a haircut at a non-existant barbershop, lol! What room type did you get at the HoJo?

Just drove in from our 3978 mile road trip - whew!
Had a great time, but happy to fly to Disneyland.

We will be there from Oct. 19th - 26th at Hojo's. I read that Pirates will be down, and I am soooo bummed as we were supposed to have our anniversary dinner at Blue Bayou.

Should we all get lime green mickey's to put on backpacks or something? I would love to run into some of us coming and going.

Hey Colorado Mom! We will also be at DL during the time you are. Are ya flying out of DIA? I remember when we talked about tickets several months ago. You are flying SW? We are on Frontier.
