September 2008 2008 ADR Wanted/Trade/Exchange/Cancelled

Just cancelled Cinderellas Breakfast 10:10am for 9/28 party of 4. Somebody better call!

OH NO!!!
I've got our coveted Chef Mcikey's breakfast that I traded with another Dis'er (she took my lunch I've got her breakfast) we just exchanged information didn't go through Disney.
AM I hurting? Should we call and officially change it? I do not want to show up there on our last morning for breakfast & have two very upset kids with me. This was the ONLY meal they asked for!!

I'm not sure what you should do. I didn't feel comfy just taking someones name and #.. I felt like I was lying if I did that.. at least now the adr I traded is in fact in my name and the one I gave her is in her name.

Some cast members will change the names on ressies, but most won't. I don't feel like I am cheating or lying when I give someone my name and reservation number if they can use it and I don't feel bad using someone else's name and ressie number. I have had CM say to do what you have to do...but they can't change the names on the ressies...that is just MHO.
I have never had a problem doing this. Now if it was a CC guarantee, that would be different...wouldn't ever give that to anyone.

I havent had any trouble thus far changing reservations. I just call and say I need to transfer the reservation name to someone else in my party. Works everytime. They change it, change the phone number, etc... you might try wording it like that.

I have reservation for a party of 4 for Chef Mickey's at 5:30pm on same day...... but now my sister has decided to join us!!!!

Don't sweat it, they will most definetely seat you all when you get there. They just won't say YES over the phone.

My DD today asked if we could go to Sci Fi! Does anyone have a ressie available on 9/20? Time doesn't matter and table size can be for 2-3-4 people. I have a Cape May to trade for this that is around 5:00-5:30-ish.

I am also looking for a Garden Grill ressie for 9/18. We are currently booked at 4:30 but really need something later...maybe more like after 6:00-ish. This is for 3-4 people.

Please help if you can ~ we are still begging for a CRT Lunch or Breakfast 9/17, 9/18 or 9/19.

Also, we are Not double booked, we are traveling with a party of 3 other adults (sometimes we are dining together & others we made different plans i.e. CRT they are just not that into ), anyways they have offered their tables in an effort to help us w/ a CRT trade & then we could just give them ours, or book them elsewhere. What I wouldn’t need with a CRT is one of Our other character meals. Hope this helps anyone with questions.

P.S. We were visiting family for an extended Labor Day weekend & just returned yesterday, during this time I didn’t work on any Disney finalizing. Last night I dreamt we were there & didn’t have any ADRs or plans whatsoever!!!

DH and I have a ressie at LeCellier on 9-20-08 around 7pm for 4 people. My inlaws will not be a able to join us that evening......PM me if you are a couple, that may want to share our ADR.

DH and I are 49 yrs old, usually order a bottle of wine with our evening meal. We love relaxing dinners and are on the DxDDp this time around....so we will prolly be ordering appies and desert. We do plan to be done with dinner in plenty of time to see Illuminations.
