Aww, but Mr. Disney-super-dad is a sweetie. I could totally tell how much he missed you in March. Your phone conversations were so sweet.

Yes, Mr. disney-super-dad is sweet......a little boring in the spontaneity department, but sweet. He loves me though and he's a great dad. Those are the important things.

If he ever did suprise me, I'd probably keel over from a heart attack!

I wanted to share about my day a little bit here if y'all don't mind.

My husband completely surprised me today!! He got up at his usual time, 6:30, showered, dressed and left for work around 7:15.

When I came home from walking the twins to school around 8:30, there was a knock at the front door. That always freaks me out as we don't know anyone in the area and no one should be showing up at my door. I was going to ignore it, but then decided to take a peek.

It was Ruben! He was standing there on the doorstep with a single pink and yellow rose and a box of Dunkin Donuts. He had only pretended to go to work. Instead he snuck off to buy the rose and the donuts, then parked nearby until he saw me come back from walking the girls.

He switched days and took today off and will work Sunday so we could spend the day together alone while the kids were at school. It was such a sweet surprise!

We went out to lunch, and just had a really nice day together........alone.
Anyway, I just love that after almost 21 years together, he still goes out of his way to do little surprises for me like that.

OKay, sorry, back to your regular programing.

Hi guys! I have missed so much lately. We started softball (Dh and I both play) DD has soccer, and I am finishing up my 3rd quarter at school...so I am busy.

I appreciate those who leave comments to me on facebook...that I do check frequently since I don't have to read back so much. lol

DH and I are getting help for our problems. We both want to make this work. We have had issues since we got married. But we are working to make things better because we love each other. I appreciate it if you all prayed for us or sent us good vibes if praying isn't your thing.

Anywho...I am working right now, I will try to catch up on all the chatter later tonight after LOST.

This is so funny as I just mailed you yesterday the free vouchers for meals with characters.

I feel bad that the vouchers are in the mail. Of course I usually only meet up with neurovariants and nice neurotypes like Bill and Mary Jo. You are a nice person but I will not impose on your family affair, it should be a fun family bonding time.

I still need to figure how to get the ECV out of the trunk of my car. I feel like a kid with a new toy that I cannot play with.

Sometimes I get so down that I do not see my blessings. I went to the garage to rotate laundry and the floor was swept, washer and dryer was cleaned, and all the laundry was folded and neatly placed in the hamper. Calvin washed my car off and cleaned all the windows on the car. I must seem silly to you all as I just cannot believe how much he does for us.

He does not pity me and instead keeps pushing me to do things around the house. He keeps telling me how nice the kitchen looks when he comes over and sees I am keeping things caught up. Always planning my life to make it better. what a friend he is.

Night ladies and see you tomorrow. This is such a great day with the ECV and Calvin. I am going to watch the finances and try to take him to DLR soon. He loves the place and he is like a kid there. Someday I will post a picture of him. My Dad took in a young man in his thirties and taught him a lot of things and now I at times feel like I am with my father. We had a talk and he understands that he needs to start paying his share as I can buy him lunch once a trip but he eats and eats and eats.

I've been very absent from my beloved threads lately...trying to get 2 final papers written by Sunday when my 2 current classes end...and not making a ton of progress. So I may spend Sunday night and Monday catch up on the gazillion threads and emails I have missed! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter and Spring break.

In about 14 hours I will be taking a much needed break to see Dis buddies Beth, Jane, and Stacie!! Can't wait. Although....to be honest....this will be my first visit to a strip club and I am not sure what to expect.

And I don't know if Chippendales is quite ready for the Dis Divas....but what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!!

Morning all. Not TOO much talking last night so that's good. Didn't take me too long to catch up!

Yesterday I just spent most of the day doing housework which was a GOOD thing! I def needed to get caught up on that and today is more of the same! I am FINALLY starting to get caught up on all that.

Last night we went to swim team again and it wasn't QUITE as bad as it was the night before and every day the girls get a little bit better so that is good. I am glad for them and Katy's friend was there so I was SO happy for her. I think within a week or two the girls will be back in the swing of things and will have friends made and it will be all good. We were able to talk to some of the parents from girl scouts and I have a meeting on Friday so they asked about Lynn and all were so shocked to hear what has been going on but as usual no one really knows the real her. She is def two sided. People are always shocked to see what she is really like but the people who are closest to her know what she is REALLY like and aren't surprised.

Supposedly Shane's brother who is a manager at the McD's up where he used to live is going to get her a job up there so I just need to get her birth cert and social sent up there and then she can get a job again but who knows how long that will last. She claims this guy is still coming to get her but I seriously doubt that and I know she is NOT very responsible and she wasn't going to work before so who knows. She is going to have to pay rent to his mom cuz his mom is not going to let her live there for free forever so I don't know it is going to be interesting. If she was going to school it would be different but if she has a full time job she wants her to give her some money.

So who knows. Shane wanted to go see her this weekend but we have soccer sign ups on Saturday and now on Sunday he has to go look at a job so I don't know what is going on. Plus we have to go talk to the youth gal at church because she never called me about the girls Awana classes and so they didn't go last night and I want to know what to do about them because they are at the same time as swim and I didn't know if they could go for the last hour AFTER swim or what. So we need to talk to her after church on Sunday.

Anywho today I am just going to get a few more things done round here and then MORE swim tonight but none tomorrow but GS! BLEH. Then Shelby got invited to a birthday party NEXT Saturday and her birthday is the 27th so we are taking her out to dinner and just having cake with my parents. So lot's coming up. Busy busy.
