Favorite Obscure Disney Song?

Candle on the Water- Pete's Dragon
Out There-Hunchback
God Help the Outcasts-Hunchback

I don't know how obscure these are.

Well considering how few people nowadays have seen either of those, they're definitely going into obscurity. :sad2:

God Help The Outcasts is so beautiful, and I love Candle On the Water, too.

i wonder -sleeping beauty
down to the sea below - (..i think thats the title) little mermaid 2
for a moment - little mermaid 2
if i never knew you - pocahontas

True true. It is so sad! People need to watch these films, especially Hunchback, it has such a great message. Kids wouldn't be so judge mental. I love God Help the Outcasts. I sang it for my talent show. ( and won) xD

We have 2 bins of VHS tapes that are (mostly) Disney, so I need to rewatch some of those.

I'm SO excited, this summer I'm renting a ton of 50's-60's Disney movies.

I've already decided that the song I'm dancing to at my (way in the distant future xD) imaginary wedding is Are We Dancing? from The Happiest Millionaire. :P

I love those! Hunchback is one of my favorite Disney movies.

How about that song from Toy Story? "Strange things are happening to me, ain't no doubt about it"

And Woody's Roundup theme song from Toy Story 2

And Pooh's excersie theme. "When I up, down, touch the ground..." That's a Disney resort classic.

Strange Things is a good song.

I also love "When She Loved Me" From Toy Story 2

Pooh's exercise theme! Ah! How could I forget that song xD?

I've had it in my head all day. I really want to watch Toy Story. But we don't have it:sad1:

Every time we go to WDW we turn on the classic cartoons channel and watch it until we see that and Steamboat Willie.

what about that one song from the tigger movie...your heart will lead you home? that makes me cry.^^;

Not really obscure "I won't Say" from Hercules (sp?) I found it on youtube a couple days ago, and yesterday I caught myself singing it, and i heard my sister say "You used to sing that ALL the time". I grew up a disney kid...

Tuppence a bag - Mary Poppins
God help the outcasts - Hunchback of Notre Dame
The Spectrum Song
Let's get together - The original Parent trap

Ahh, I love songs from Hercules!

I Won't Say (I'm In Love)...classic.
Zero to Hero
The Gospel Truth
Go the Distance

Ohhh and Hunchback...

God Help the Outcasts
Heaven's Light/Hellfire
Out There

So, to cheer myself up after putting my dog down, I was listening to some of my favorite Disney songs.

I realized that some of the songs I like, most people have never heard of! So what's your favorite obscure Disney song (or at least one you think is obscure)?

Here are [some of] my favorites:
Enjoy It! - In Search of The Castaways

Any song from The Happiest Millionaire

If I Never Knew You- Love theme from Pocahontas

The Age of Not Believing- Bedknobs and Broomsticks (not so obscure)

My Funny Friend and Me- Written and preformed by Sting for The Emperor's New Groove

Lavender Blue (Dilly, Dilly)- So Dear to My Heart (actually a traditional old song, not written by Disney)

Candle on the Water- Pete's Dragon (again, not so obscure)

my mom used to sing that to me all the time...... :wizard:

"Go the Distance" from Hercules is pretty much one of my favourite Disney songs ever.

after that...

"Dr. Finklestein/In the Forest" from the Nightmare Before Christmas (I have the soundtrack to this)
"Second Star to the Right" from Peter Pan
"Best of Friends" from The Fox and the Hound
"T'was Brilling" from Alice in Wonderland
"The Mad Tea Party/The Unbirthday Song/Twinkle Twinkle" from Alice in Wonderland
"The Bells of Notre Dame" from The Hunchback of Notre Dame (I hate to say this...but when I visited the belltowers of Notre Dame last summer...I was singing this in my head the entire time...)

My friend Nora is a wonderful singer and she's a soprano (a very talented soprano at that, she can sing to a G above a high C or something to that extent) and she used both "Someday my Prince Will Come" and "Sing Sweet Nightingale" in one of her recitals last year.

I realize I'm resurrecting this thread 4 years later, but I'm working on my Disney Spotify playlist and was Googling obscure Disney songs to see what came up. Some good songs in these replies, but wondering if anyone has any others?

To throw in my two cents, the ones I like a lot that I haven't seen mentioned are both from Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin. "Forever and Ever" is a simple tune but I really enjoy it. And "Wherever You Are" must be one of the most heartbreaking songs of all time, but I love it too!

Tomorrow Is Another Day-the Rescuers
Down to the Sea-Little Mermaid 2
Strange Things- Toy Story
World of Color
One Little Spark :figment:
