I haven't posted in so long :(..... but I have been keeping up with this thread and reading about everyone's plans.
As for my plans, they keep changing a million times and i am starting to panic because july is not too far away. Our ADR's are all messed up because another couple has decided to join us and I have not had the time to cancel and make new reservations. As of right now we plan on eating at Narcoosee's, Ohana, Le Cellier, Liberty Tree, Raglan Road and Tutto Italia. But this has constantly been changing and half of those I don't have reservations for yet. Sorry for the rant, but I just feel so overwhelmed right now and so behind everyone else.

Hi everyone! Is it too late to get on the "July list"? We will be there July 3rd - 9th at WL. It will be our first 3 generation trip...Myself, daughter (29) and grandson (9). Am excited to spend the holiday at WDW. Have not had a summer trip there since I was 11. We have always gone in fall, winter, and once over spring break. DH opted out this time due to his dislike for heat and big crowds. He can usually handle one or the other but both at once would be too much for him!
Anyone spend the 4th there before? Do they do anything special for the holiday?

It isn't a race. I'd look at the positive side; you have the excitement left of still booking dining reservations. (Sometimes I think about changing mine just so I can play with something!) :yay: I do think you should try to get the reservations asap. You can cancel the others after you book the new. Good luck and have fun!

It's ok! You still have plenty of time. Try for Le Cellier and 'Ohana first. Those are the two that book up fastest. If you can't make them for 4, is it possible to politely separate from the other couple for a night or two? If not, keep trying. I was able to snag an 'Ohana ADR just days before a trip once after weeks and weeks of trying.

Good luck, Lisa!!

Welcome! LOVE the WL! It's my first time for the 4th too. I know they do the special MK fireworks on the 3rd and 4th. There is a special add-on at the end of Illumintaions on the 4th...not sure about what happens at DHS, but I think I heard something about Sorcery in the Sky for the 4th? :confused3

Other than that, they are premiering "Summer Night-tastic" this summer, which has a few different things happening in the parks at night, included a new fireworks show in the MK and the Main Street Electrical Parade.

Thanks for the "welcome" Nikki! I read through some of your PTR and watched your Honeymoon montage. You guys look like you have so much fun together.:)That Wishes cruise sounds great. Looks like you're set to have a magical vacay!
This is my 10th trip to The World but the first trip with my daughter and grandson together. I love that I discover new things on each trip and can't wait to see what this year will bring.
Made some DR's early but with some changes in itinerary, I now have to move some things around and find some new places. I lo-o-ove planning! pixiedust:

I know, it's such fun to plan! The problem is planning so early and having all that time to wait causes you to rethink and move things around!

If any newcomers want to post their ADR dates and time, I can add them to the list on top of page 7!

We are there in July too! WL (Club Level) July 4 - 10! Traveling with me will be my husband and son (8). This is our 5th trip in 5 years, but never during the 4th of July! I haven't read through this whole thread yet, but do people post their itineraries for suggestions, advice?
Thanks!
Debbie

We have reservations for Le Cellier and Ohana which is good. All the others are for 4 people and now we have 6 so those need to be changed. I was trying to get a reservation for Tutto italia and they didnt have any around the time we wanted, so I got frustrated and stopped looking. lol. I need to dedicate a whole day to Disney planning to perfect everything.
I am very excited for this trip! Last year it was dbfs first time, so we had to see everything! This year we plan on relaxing and just seeing our favorites. I love the Poly so much and last year we didn't really get to enjoy it because we were always running around.

This is exactly what we're going to do too this time! We always are exhausted after our vacation, but not this time! Can't wait to just hang around the Poly and the Dolphin, enjoying the resorts! Yay!!!:cool1:

Wow, it's May 2nd already!!! July is getting closer and closer everyone!

This was such a crazy busy weekend for us. Notice a slight (and I do mean tiny, slight) difference in my signature? My little guy turned 3 yesterday!!!! So yesterday we had his birthday party for his friends, and today was my niece's 9th birthday so we had a family party for both of them at our house! My sister and I alternate whose house it is in, and this year it was in mine. We had a lot of fun but going back to work tomorrow actually sounds like a break to me! :rotfl:

We also realized that we are booked every single Sunday between now and our trip to Florida!! That's crazy! Between birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, my cousin's graduation from law school, July 4th, getting together with friends and family, etc., we have every Sunday booked! All good things though, which makes it wonderful of course! It should always be like that...a busy life full of good things to look forward to with wonderful people! :)

This time of year is always busy, can't help it! Another busy week coming up...my son's 3-year wellness check-up at the doctor on Tuesday, Conco de Mayo lesson and celebration with my Spanish class on Wednesday (I teach one Spanish class, and 4 Italian classes), DH's birthday is Thursday so on Friday evening the family is coming over to celebrate, getting together with family friends on Saturday, and then next Sunday is Mother's Day already! And my head will be spinning like this: :rotfl:!!

With all these busy things, this trip is going to be here before I know it! Now I am REALLY making sure I enjoy this time of looking forward to being in WDW again, and to our first trip there as DVC members...oh how I can't wait to have all that space in a nice 1-bedroom villa, and soak in that whirlpool tub after those long days at the parks! ;)

Well, I'm exhausted right now from everything this weekend. Off to bed I shall go in a few! Good night everyone, have a wonderful week, and if tomorrow being Monday has you down, just remember...it is one more day closer to July! :cool1:

We only have three ADR's because we are staying CL at WL and booked the QSDP. I figured with all the food being offered at the Club we didn't need a full blown dining plan this time. However, we still wanted to visit a few of our favorite restuarants and we will pay for those dinner OOP. I have been saving my Disney Visa dollars and plan to transfer them to my reward card before we go - should have around $180! That money will go to the dinners, I think! Anyway...our reservations...
7/4 - Wolfgang Pucks 6:00pm
7/5 - LeCellier 5:55pm
7/7 - Kona Cafe 5:30pm
7/8 - MK Dessert Party!
I will post my touring plan tomorrow - if work isn't too crazy! :confused3
