We want to see everything and try everything in the Epcot. What are the best places to snack around the World Showcase?

Well, everyone has their favorites. Ours is a stop at the Sommerfest in Germany for a beer and bratwurst.

The best thing about WS is that there are so many different countries that each one have wonderful snacks. I for one, love going to either the Kringla Bakery in Norway or the French Bakery in France for a sweet treat. And I am determined to try out a Kaki Gori this trip :goodvibes Good luck.

Guess I should've written "favorite". We've never really snacked around the WS so I want to try a few things this time around.

My kids LOVE eating around the world. What we do is get one CS combo meal at two or three different countries and share it as discuss information about the country we are in.

My children found out they liked lamb and couscous from Morocco, bratwurst and sauerkraut from Germany and tempura shrimp and ginger cake in Japan.

They can't wait for our next trip during F&W to try even more coutries. :)

I've had multiple things in France that I enjoyed. You really cannot go wrong in the bakery there or the crepes shop.
The wine in Germany is also really good if you enjoy dessert wines.
Can you tell I have a sweet tooth?:rotfl:

I was not impressed by the pretzels in Germany (so dry!!) I was also not impressed by fish and chips in England. Maybe that will help you narrow it down some.

Have fun!!!

Top choice is the Scotch Egg at the pub in England.

Second would be the guacamole at the Cava Tequila in Mexico.

Third would be the hummus in Morocco.

I'll second the vote for Boulangerie Patisserie!! Those Napoleon's are mouthwatering. Of course it's all sugar. For a substantial snack try beer. :thumbsup2

One of my favorite snacks it the Waffle at the Kringla (bakery in Norway). We also like the School Bread and Cloudberry Horn at the Kringla.

The French pastries are also yummy!

Do just that...try whatever smells good, looks good, etc..

We did a TON of different snacking throughout our days at Epcot to try and experience all of the wonderful food there. I love sweets so my fav was the patisserie in france YUUUMMM. DD's liked the shaved ice thingie (sorry can't recall the name) in Japan. Everything is soooo good there it's very hard to just name one favorite for me but the napoleon in france pretty much comes in first place for me :)

I'm really wanting to try the school bread in Norway this coming trip as well.

We love the France Patisserie as well, though this year I want to try something from Kringla Bakery in Norway. The Kaki Gori (shaved ice) from Japan is really refreshing. I also wasn't a big fan of Germany's pretzel, but my husband enjoyed it.

We ate at Rose & Crown last time and DH had the steak and cod (which is your basic fried fish) and we loved it! Maybe the QS and TS fish differ?

It must be different. When we had it as QS it was tasteless. But maybe they were having an off day :confused3

Love, love, love guacamole. Never heard of the restaurant.

Mmmm, beeeeeer (in my best Homer Simpson voice)

Like Belgian waffles? Gotta try that.

I think the Kaki Gori will definitely be on the list. So many have mentioned it, along with the bakery in France. Does anyone know if these qualify as snack credits or if they're on the DDP at all?

I have a family of four. Our family loves to order one small meal at each country (we skip America) and share the dish.

We do this throughout the day, get very filled up, and enjoy many dishes. We always ask for something authentic from that country.
