It runs from 8/17 thru 9/27/2012. Quick service for values and regular dining for the moderates. Be on the look out for this in your room.
Looks like maybe general public will maybe eventually get this . Lets hope!
The lady at the reservations said it was first placed in the rooms on 8/8/2011.

HallsofVa - lots of times there's nothing about BBs in the room, housekeeping knows nothing about BBs, and even the front desk says "huh?" (aggravating!) so always call extension 8844 from your resort room before you check out to ask about ongoing BB offers. Sorry this is too late to help you since you've already checked out, but at least you'll know for next time

So the only BB out there for next year is free dining? Bummer! As a solo, a room discount always trumps free dining. I'll have to keep my fingers crossed that something better is out there for my December trip.

I have learned to call, before checking out. I was going to call and then the flyer showed up. I booked, but the times interfer with my daughter's
high school sports schedule. I just wanted to hedge my bet. The plan will probably change to a room only discount and going after school gets out.

My friend is staying at coronado springs now and her bb is offering quick service dining for value and moderates and regular dining for akl or wl.
Isn't that weird? It is the same code and everything.
Wonder if hers is a mistake.

I guess don't look a gift horse in the mouth, but honestly that's not a great deal considering they've offered free dining during those times to the general public since it's the slowest time of the year.

It actually could turn out to be a good deal to someone wanting or needing to book the first week of the promo as last year WDW got enough bookings from BB people that they didnt offer that week when the GP code came out.

I am so upset! We checked out of the Beach Club on 8/25, and we did not get that offer. Earlier in the week I called 8844 from my room to see if they would be offering a bounceback and they told me no!

That is exactly the deal I wanted, and I wanted to book it before we left.

We got it in our room on August 25th and we checked out on August 26th. The lady that did my bounceback said that she was told it was out since August 8th, but it was the first one that she had booked.

I had this offer in my room also and booked it for 8/21-8/25. I normally wait for the general public code to come out, but this offer didn't make you buy the $100 photo book that was required for the last free dining offer.

I also checked out 8/25. We stayed at YC. When we checked in 8/17 the BB in our room was room discount through year end. On checkout day I phoned and asked about the latest BB and was told free dining with QSDP at values and DDP at moderate on up, just like the OP's flier indicates. I didn't get a flyer for it but I did get the offer when I phoned 8844. I booked. The offer is value at the new Animation Suites which is great, though because they're value resorts it is only free QSDP.

To the person who said it doesn't seem like anything special because they always offer free dining this time period, let me explain why it is something special.
1. Last year's BB was the same as this year's. The GP offer for Aug/Sept included the purchase of a memory book. The BB is therefore $100 cheaper, plus it's purchased before ticket prices go up so it's a tiny bit more savings as well.
2. Last year's BB started Aug 17 just like this year's. THe GP offer for Aug/Sept did not include that first week so this is a week where the offer was only available via BB.
3. Have you ever seen how crazy this board gets as people are waiting for a discount of some kind to come out? By booking a BB, you're guaranteed of at least some kind of discount. If a discount that better suits you comes out then you easily change to that one but at least you've got something if you're considering going during the BB period anyway and you don't have to go through that whole waiting game and then dealing with the long hold times and panic over whether your room category at your resort will be available or not when it is released.

We didn't get the flyer until a day or two before leaving on 8/27. I had the clock offer out to remind me to call. I didn't get to it and then the current bounceback flyer was set on the table as a replacement. I was . Everything will probably change, as this interferes with my DD's high school sports schedule. I wanted to be safe, rather than sorry.

We were at Pop Century from 8/19 - 8/27. That same offer appeared in our room on the 25th.
