Wearing Pirate attire to dinner...?

Will we feel out of place in our Pirate attire at dinner on pirate night? We will be wearing pirate-themed t-shirts and jeans. Thanks in advance!

I dont think so....We plan on doing the same exact thing..jeans and a pirate themed long sleeved t-shirt...I have seen some pics of people in FULL pirate costumes!! Have a great time!!

Not at all. This was my DD and her BF on our recent MR cruise:

She didn't have her hat on for dinner (it was a tri-corner), the rest of us were equally dressed up.

You can see a kid with just a pirate bandana on on the left hand side.

So go for it!

Oh no dont worry about it .... lots of other people will be wearing their pirate gear ... we went to dinner in ours ... we were wearing pink disney cruise line pirate tshirts with the bandana and cut offs ... it was great!!! u will have a brilliant time x

I wore a full pirate costume, DH wore "normal" clothes. He does a lot to make me smile, but he does NOT dress up.

Some will wear a pirate themed shirt, others in full pirate, and still others (most) will not dress to theme at all.

You will feel IN PLACE! The more pirate-theme your clothing is the better. And don't forget lots of arrghs. And take lots of pictures.

I just wore a Pirate shirt and some black capris. Even the waiters wear pirate stuff. It is encouraged to wear your pirate stuff to dinner.

all 3 of us were in Full pirate costumes, it was so much fun. In fact I think not dressing up would just make it ....blah.

We also dressed to the nine on the formal and semi formal nights. Every other night we dressed up as well, it was fun and made it special for us.

but do what is comfortable for "you". dont worry so much about others.

We didn't dress up (it was our first cruise) and were the only couple at our table who didn't. Will at least do a little something on our next cruise..it looked fun

We have cruised twice on Disney Magic in Europe and both times nearly everybody was wearing something pirate themed at dinner, either costume or t shirt with appropriate logo.

This may have been just our experience but when we took our first cruise in 2006 on the Magic, all 6 of us had complete pirate costumes. It was the majority of people that were dressed up. We had a riot!

Flashforward 2 years later on the Wonder in 2008 on a 4-day cruise. There were literally only 2 families in pirate costumes at our dining time. We honestly thought that we got the evenings mixed up. You would not believe the looks we got from people on the ship like we were a family of freaks! We were laughing so hard because we were so embarassed. My daughter was 15 at the time and mortified. Our servers of couse loved it though.

We have 4-day cruise on the Dream in Feb and the big joke with the kids is "Do you want to dress up for Pirate night?" and the response is always a resounding "NO WAY!"

Do you have any ideal where i might find a blouse that the female lead wore in the last pirate movie? alos the hat? I'm not a sewer so i would have a hard time sewing one up thanks
