November 30, 2013 Eastern Caribbean on the Fantasy

YES!!! The Christmas decorations will be up!! And they will blow you away! They put up the Christmas decorations right after Thanksgiving. We were on the Dream 12/4 and they were up. I can't wait to see what they do on the Fantasy!

I'm actually excited to celebrate Hanukkah on the cruise! I'm wondering if there is anyone else from this group that is Jewish?

YAY! One year to go!

So my DH and I have kept this cruise a secret from our kids since we booked it in October of last year. We never really talked about how we were going to tell them or even when we were going to tell them. This morning my DH mentioned that we should tell our boys today since today is the one year mark. So, tonight when we were out to dinner I asked the boys to guess what we are going to be doing in exactly one year from today. They answered with cute guesses like - put up the Christmas tree; bake cookies; visit Grammy and Pappy; go shopping. And then I just told them that we're going to be leaving for a trip on Mickey's boat. They got so excited. Their eyes got so big and their faces lit up. My one little guy waved his hands in the air (like he does when he gets excited) and the other one clapped and they both had these huge smiles. I wish I would've had my camera, but alas, I didn't, but I hope to always remember their reactions.

I'm glad we told them so now we can talk about it. I want to also start working on my FE gifts and I know the boys will want to help in some way with those. Now we just have to wait...365 more days.

We live in Palmyra, PA (located about two miles east of Hershey; Did you ever hear of Hershey Chocolate?)

We have early dining and are in stateroom #7512; however, the room number will probably change as I can't make up my mind. I think we'd like to be more AFT than forward especially with the boys. We'll see.

I am Lisa, will be 40 at time of sailing- not ready to say 40 yet! DH Gerrit will be 45 and DD Athena will be 11. We are doing early dining this time (last year we did the late dining and we were stuffed going to bed!). We do not have our cabin number yet. We are a GTY 5E.

Secret Mickey is just like a Secret Santa. I will send out questions of your interests ahead of time, then throw the names in a hat and match up people. You would deliver the gift to the persons cabin. You can each do it or just the kids, etc. we did it on our Dream cruise and it was a nice added bonus so close to the holidays! Let me know! Hi Everyone
Just a few days ago we completed our cruise titled "November 24, 2012 ~ Western Fantasy ~ Pachyderms of the Caribbean". That was so much fun that we have booked this adventure that you are all part of.

Joining me is my DW Karen & DS Matthew who will have just turned 14.

We would like to be included in the FE and would be a huge contributor to the Facebook page.

We made a lot of friends on the DisBoard and FB page for the Pachyderms, some of who are going to be coming on this cruise as well. We are truly looking forward to meeting our old friends and to making new friends.

We had a standing gathering location for when the kids were in the clubs or down for the night. It was on the 12th deck at Satellite Falls. Every night shortly after 10pm their would be a few of us and over time the group grew. I hope that tradition continues.

Booked this cruise while aboard the Magic last week! This will be my 14th Disney Cruise but my FIRST on the Fantasy! I will be with my mother, father and sister in 2 cabins. 6092 and 6090! The Eastern Caribbean is our fav itinerary so we are excited!
