Prepaid Photopass + now offered at DL

Mine is still in Georgia, which is opposite side of the country from me  It has a week to make it, so it should be fine, but definitely not the 5 days from order to doorstep that other people on here have experienced.

FWIW. I ordered mine Nov 16. I got an email that it shipped on the 17th, but tracking shows that it didn't ship till the 19th. It arrived on the 26th.

Good luck!

Well, I decided to just send it to my home and it already shipped today. So I fell optimistic it will arrive in time. :)

I ordered mine on Sunday night (Nov. 25). I received email on Monday that is shipped. It arrived on Saturday, via US mail (in a DHL envelope). I live in WA state.

So I ordered my 783 photos, which shipped to Ontario, Canada, on Nov 19. The two discs arrived Nov 29 in a single, DVD-style jewel case by Canada Post. I've already made each child their own personal photo book using a combination of our and the PP+ photos, but haven't received them yet. The resolution on the 4x6 photos I received was 3216 x 2136. The PP+ photographer's giant flashes provided much better photos in some types of light (particularly low light) than did the flash on my DH's Canon 40D SLR, which was used by the same photogs to take photos at the same times. Seriously, I cannot imagine a better $70 we spent on our vacation. The Princesses, especially, are kept in a harsh mix of sunlight and shade, so a lot of our days shots are really mweh, including the PP+ ones, but the PP+ ones are still better. (We got better shots at the Princess fair at night than in the afternoon.)

Is there any place in DTD to get your card or you have to wait until you go into the park?...We will have a little extra time the evening we get there and Im going ahead and getting our DL tickets the evening before so I don't have to mess with it the day we get to go to the park just wondering if I could do the same with my pp+

Mine arrived this AM. One week after ordering, 3 days before its scheduled delivery. Tracking information never updated.

Glad it's here! So excited to not feel like I need to lug the big, heavy camera into the park every day but can still get some nice photos :)

no, you have to go into one of the parks to the photo gallery shops!

Question for those of you who preordered: When I went into the park and traded my voucher for the PP+ lanyard I received both a lanyard and a whole new CD. Both the CD I got in the mail and the CD I got in the parks have redemption codes. Has anyone else had this happen? Which do I use?

Sounds like you had a silly CM. I personally would use the one you got in the mail, and maybe take the second CD back in to the photo shop to let them know what happened. Assuming you're still there, of course.

We are eating at Goofy's our first day at DLR. It will be a nonpark day for us. How do we obtain the photos from Goofy's in the most efficient manner? I expect the parks to be crowded (12/18-23) and I don't want to waste time standing in a long line to just activate my photopass+ voucher. (Really! Why do they even send a voucher? Why don't they activate it for the dates you are going to be there?) I have read different things about getting your dinner photo packages before activation, but what is working lately? Can anyone help me figure this out?

My understand is you pay there and then when you activate photopass keep GK receipt and they will reimburse you.

Hey all - We have a trip tentatively planned for next November. I hope/plan to use Photopass Plus. But the trip is not set in stone, particularly the exact dates.

My question is - when you order the voucher, do you a) need to provide specific trip dates at that time and b) does the voucher ever expire?

No, you don't have to provide dates but the voucher does expire so don't pre-purchase it until your dates are more firm to ensure you can use it.

My voucher that I received in May 2012 does not have an expiration date. Once you exchange the voucher for the PP+ card, then an expiration date comes into play ... the PP+ card expires in 14 days.

Like what's been said earlier, buy the Photo Package and save your receipt. You'll get reimbursed the next day when you pick up your PP+ card.

And to your question about a voucher and pre-activating it for strict dates ... some people bought this deal when it came out to lock in the current price. PP+ cost can increase 20-30% in a single year, so it can be a wise decision to buy before your dates are firm.

When I pre-purchased earlier this year, my voucher had an expiration date at the end of Dec. I did pre-purchase using a special offer at the time.

I will be getting my voucher in a day or two so I will let ya know what mine says :yay:

I got mine 2 weeks ago and there is no expiration date on the pass voucher or the cd voucher.

Nope, I'm not there. It seemed like they knew what they were doing so I thought maybe it was just me. Do you think it was a mistake then?

Anyone else tell me what happened to you when you went to redeem your voucher. Was I supposed to just get a lanyard, not a whole new case with CD like they sent in the mail?

Got mine yesterday (well checked the mail yesterday but it probably came on Sat) and I didnt notice an expiration date on mine either.

I do wish we could get our PP+ card before entering the park so we dont have to waste park time to get it.

You were supposed to get a plus card on a lanyard so you could get any dining photos (at certain locations) and ride photos (certain locations) as digital downloads onto your plus card and a free photo package for the dining locations.
