I may be booking this tomorrow. Our anniversary is the 7th so we would celebrate on the ship.

Vicki just emailed me and we are in 7122 right above Debbie and Jr. Now we just have to save up for the flight to the West Coast.

Checking in! Can't wait to go!!!! I've always wanted to go to Alaska. One more line we get to cross off of the bucket list!!!!

We booked! We booked! Yay! :cool1: Now hopefully we can make it work and go. But we have a room and that's a start.

We are coming with you!!!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:
It will be my son and I. He will be 7 then. Our table mates from our Hawaii cruise should be joining us and possibly another friend and her son. Woo hooo! Can't wait to discuss excursions and plans!!!!

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

Have a great cruise!

he will be 3 months next week :)

We took our son on his first cruise when he turned 1. I have to say it wasn't bad, but it wasn't exactly easy either. For us the worst part was that he was still teething so he wasn't feeling his greatest. But it's definitely a personal choice of what works best for your family.

He'll be 3 this time around, and I said I wouldn't even attempt a 6 hour flight till he was 3 and could communicate better. But honestly I still dread the cross-country flight. I think once you get there, it may not be so bad at that age. Since it will be cooler, the not being able to swim in the big pools, due to diapers, might not be as much of an issue. The big question for you may be concern over time changes and baby schedules, and if you think you want to do some major excursions. I'm excited to use the kids clubs this time around. We checked out the nursery last time, but since our little guy was so clingy we didn't get to use it.

Hope the info helps a bit.

Woot woot!!! We are on!!! So excited. My daughters will be 6 and 2 when we sail. This will be my oldest daughter's third Disney Cruise. We took her for the first time when she was 16 months old and it was great......minus the old school muster drill. We are happy to be sailing with our DISPEEPS again!!!!

If your son likes group activities, movies, video games, coloring, and climbing and can handle being separated from you he will love the club! My son had just turned 5 when we first went and he liked them so-so. He's a clingy, shy child though. We went again a few months later and he loved them! Because it was his second time on the ship he was more comfortable and did better with separation. In fact, he begged to go every day! Outgoing children tend to dive right in and not care about being separated from their parents I've seen. Even though my son loved them he was in them at most 2 hours at a time. He was pretty done by that point. Sometimes he went once a day, sometimes twice. It was a 2 week cruise so he had lots of opportunities. For this cruise my goal is for him to either hang with me on our Tracy Arm day or be with the CM's from the clubs. I read here that they take have a special program for the kids on that day. He will likely be in the club a lot longer than usual that day if he's bored with me. The other days we will do our usual 2 hour thing most likely. I think our kids will get the most out of our port days. That's going to be so much fun! :)

Hi there....
Excited about the Alaska cruise!
How is everybody? :wave2:

Thanks for the info on how your son felt with the clubs. I'll be interested to see where we are at that point. He's an interesting mix so far between loving to get into things and being clingy in unfamiliar territory. But either way I doubt that he'd be there very often or very long. Maybe for part of dinner now and again, or if we are able to get Palo reservations type of thing. Yeah I'm really looking forward to sharing the beauty of Alaska with him too! So excited to make this trip happen.
