So Much To Celebrate - LIFE and Sophie Kate!

The chair balancing performer always makes me so nervous, too! I just can't look away though!

Looks like you had some yummy food! What was the first thing you ate?

My brother plays in a bagpipe and drum band in New Jersey (will be marching in the New York City St. Patrick's Parade on Saturday, March 16), and when we all go to Disney this July, I'm sure he'll make a point of hearing Off Kilter!

My home and native land! It would certainly be cool to have a fence like that in my backyard! :goodvibes. Off Kilter is always a must view on my trips too!

So exciting to hear the "one week from today" game!:thumbsup2 I wish I were playing along! Looks like I will likely be waiting until march 2014

All that food looks so good. I cannot wait to be there around that time..some day! :cloud9:

Maybe you can go more often when Kristen and Chris move down there and offer you a free place to stay...:rolleyes1

That mushroom steak was off the charts!

I don't remember the order. I have to go by the pictures. I do not get a lot of things at any F&W Festival - just two or three things, or if Jill is with me, maybe four or five and we share. I am pretty selective about what I get, too, because those little prices can add up to a big total, if one is not careful.

I'm sure he will have a deeper appreciation for them than I do. I like to listen for a few minutes, but then I am off to something else. It's neat that your brother does something so unique! :thumbsup2

One week from today....

I will be having breakfast at Cape May with Miss Anita Wigd, Mr. Marc, and little cutie pie Harper. Since it is at 9:00, my friend will appreciate the fact that she can sleep in a little. I may be up and off taking pictures and meet them at Cape May, or I may be appreciative of a morning in, too. I'll have to see how the bum leg is holding out after two days. :)

After Cape May, it's a Magic Kingdom day. :earsgirl:

Finally Friday, everyone! :tigger: Our kids are officially on spring break. Teachers go today for meetings and paperwork. Our second grade team is taking breakfast, so I have to go finish doing my breakfast casserole and tropical rice pudding. I am going to drive through Chik-Fil-A and get some chicken minis on the way. Others are bringing fruit, hash brown casserole, little smokies, banana bread, etc. We will plan and eat and eat and plan, and at the end of the day, we are off for two weeks! :dance3:

My fence! :thumbsup2

By the way, I think I am finally going to get to meet my favorite Canadian fence builder of all time, declansdad, on this trip! :woohoo: It happens that he and his father-in-law are coming to Orlando the day we have to leave to come back, and he thinks he can work it out to come over to Pop Century to meet up that afternoon before we get swept away by UnME.

I love that fence. It's so perfect - subtle, but lets you know just where you are. Very cool that you are going to be meeting up with declansdad.

I did not try another from the Florida booth, but there's always next year.

I did try the spicy hand roll and it was awesome.

Congrats on an upcoming trip! Lucky!

:woohoo: Spring Break!!

I am loving these Epcot pics! :lovestruc It really IS such a pretty park with sooo much to see. I'm looking forward to the pictures you'll be sharing from F&G - we're hoping to get over there in early May before it's over, but you always seem to get pictures of things I completely miss! :)

I loved the trip around the World while being stuck at home for the 3rd day from being sick. I know I'm getting better though because the food actually looks and sounds very enticing! Yesterday and two days ago, everything food-related just seemed yucky.

If I were eating at Canada, I would've wanted that chipotle sausage. It's really good with a nice kick!

I guess I should rephrase... I meant to ask, what was in the first food picture in this update? Hahha, sorry for the confusion. Happy Spring Break! :goodvibes

I love Off Kilter!! I always try to catch at least one of their performances during our trips, they're so much fun!

I love that Disney World has music of all kinds all over the parks and resorts and in DTD. That's on of the things I miss when I leave Disney property - music in the air wherever I go.

The trip is most certainly upon me. I was sitting here earlier putting some grades in, and I realized I needed to print off my flight and room info, since I don't have a printer at home. When I pulled them off the printer, the other teachers around were jealous.

I am excited about meeting 'Pops'!!! I wish Ma and Declan were going to be with him, too. I have watched Declan grow up on the DIS. He's a big basketball playing boy now!

I heard Pete Werner say it was the best F&G ever, in his opinion. :thumbsup2

Glad you are better. You must be feeling better if you can even say chipotle sausage!

I can't see pictures here at school, but I think you may be talking about the pork on a corncake and the corn salad. It was pretty good. I sat close to that kiosk and enjoyed people watching while I nibbled.

Yum! All the food talk is making me hungry. I plan on trying the watermelon salad and the beef brisket for sure. It will be exciting to be there with food offerings since I have never been to F & W. Hope you get your packing done this weekend. I am going to start soon. It will be here before I know it!

This looks pretty much perfect. Mmmmmmm. :thumbsup2

'Twas gooooood. :)

That looks interesting. I am crazy about watermelon, but I'm not sure I would like it with the other things.

Now that my schoolwork is behind me, I have to work on my den. After my den, I will pack. I think I might do all my supply shopping tomorrow.

Two weeks for spring break?!?!??!?! I never got that long. I'm jealous!!

We have never gotten out that long either. This is a first! I think it is going to be really hard to get the kids back into the swing of things, though, right after a long break and with only eight weeks of school left. When we go back, there will be four weeks until state testing, so we worked on pulling prep material for that a good portion of today. When we go back, we will go into slave-driving mode for four weeks. :sad2:

We have a special request for good thoughts and prayers for stasieki tonight. She has pneumonia, and she is supposed to be at a family wedding tomorrow with daughter, Abby, as the flower girl. We need her to have a good night's rest and feel much better tomorrow! ::yes:: I am hoping she can at least go for some of the festivities and be able to enjoy the day to some degree.

Today was my last day of school for two full weeks, so that is good. :woohoo:

It cost $339 to get a bunch of things done to my old car, so that is not good.

I have a car, and it is paid for, so that is good.

Next week, I will be in Florida, and that is good. :cool1:

I guess the goods outweigh that one bad, right?

I like this picture, but it was a little nerve-wracking to have a six year old holding a newborn over concrete!

EEK!!!! Yeah. You are going to have a very hard time getting the kids back into the groove of things. And by the time you do it will be time to go for summer. Good Luck!!! But Don't think about it too much. At least not until after Disney :)

I had no idea you were getting two weeks off. Lucky duck!!! I'm pretty much ready to go and heading to bed. I have no idea when Marc us going to get his things in his luggage. He has fallen asleep in his chair watching basketball. I will get up early for last minute details before we get Harper and begin the drive to Kansas City and our afternoon flight...
