Foods I wished they still made

Have you tried sesame Grissini? They are kind of similar, but I've never had the PF ones.

Hmmm ... I'll have to give those a try.

The PF ones had the salt on them that made 'em so darn good. If these are dry and plain with just sesame seeds I don't think they'll cut it. Why did PF stop making these sticks of salted heaven? :confused3 :rotfl:

Someone mentioned ecto cooler!! I loved that stuff!! Dunkaroos rocked, too! The hubster and I were talking about those not too long ago! I miss trix, when they were still shaped like fruits, they are terrible now. I also used to love the nerds cereal, it was so cool because of the two different flavors in one box!! Man, this thread makes me wish for a time machine!! :)

I used to love Chocolate Snaps. They came in a small box. Wish they still made them.

I remember those! They were good!

Another thing, my grandmother used to buy these little frozen pizzas the size of bagel bites. I loved those things! I have no idea what they were called or who made them.

Here they are!

Oh Clearly Canadian oh how i miss it. That raspberry one was delicious. I was so happy to read on the dis years ago about the curly whirly. It's not exactly a Marathon bar because that was HUGE. I remember going up to the corner store with my quarter or maybe it was 2 quarters. To me I was getting such a steal.

When you licked the fake chocolate off, you'd discover a standard Oreo underneath.

HiC in a big can

.

I loved Hi-C in a can. I stopped buying it when they switched to plastic bottles. There was this weird green flavor whose name I can't remember.

HiC ecto cooler, clearly Canadian, dunkaroos, planters cheese balls, and Cheetos used to have some shaped like a paw that were amazing.

That's it!! Thanks.

Jim

Before Ecto Cooler, it was called Citrus Cooler.

Oooh, yeah, Planters cheese balls, I'd forgotten all about those.

Kraft Olive Pimento Cheese Spread. The one that's just Pimento is NOT the same.

And I'm really going to date myself with these:
Jello 1-2-3! It made layers of different textures in the glass.

And does anyone remember Triangle Thins crackers? I think they were from Nabisco. I'm trying to remember exactly what they were like, maybe kind of like Sociables, but different - I just remember they were good.

Oh, and Hydrox cookies - I know they did an "anniversary" thing with these a couple of years ago, but I swear they were not as good as the ones I grew up with.

I was gonna say Jello 1-2-3! We LOVED that at my house! And Whip and Chill! This'll probably gross some of you out, but Philadelphia brands used to make the BEST clam dip!

so many memories from this thread.

I loved keebler fudge town and oh! Fudge cookies.

Peanut butter bops were so especially the chocolate chip ones.

Clearly canadian I would guzzle after running around all afternoon.

Two I haven't seen mentioned is Carnation Breakfast Bars and Hershey's Bar None.

I consider myself lucky though as I can get Peanut Butter Twix, even kingsize that have 4 bars, at my corner store. And although there are no Planters Cheese Balls, our local grocery store HEB, makes a house brand that are identical.

V-8 Splash Lemon Tea. I just started drinking it like 2 months ago. I was hooked and then found out that they discontinued it. I was late to the party. I thought it was pretty new but apparently not.

There used to be a seasoning pack that you would stir into tuna. Loved that stuff!

Tuna Twist - there were three or four varieties. The one we liked best was called something like "Garden Vegetable." DH misses this like crazy! It was so good!

Yes! That's the name and the Garden Vegetable was the one I always used. Miss it...

Liberty, my grandmother used to make me something like this too. I can't be sure but I think they may have been called Genos (Ginos/Jinos) Frozen mini-pizza. She used to make me these for a snack. fond memories

Snap-just saw you posted the picture of them. That's what I remember. Dang that must have been a early -mid 70s grandmother treat.

3. Peanut butter Twix. Those were yummy! Way better than carmel imho.

They still sell those at one of our local CVS stores. every once in a while I will break down and get one.

Mine are:
Jello pudding pops
Frozen Howard Johnson Mac n cheese
