When my kids moved out I took many trips by myself. I loved it! My DD Sarah got me involved in this group and we've been on all the trips. Now I've got a grand daughter who turned one last month. She's been to the parks twice and I'm taking her again this Sat.I feared my yearly Disney trips were coming to an end. When I found out about the DIS Divas, I thought it was an opportunity to meet new people and keep my Disney tradition alive.
That's it in a nutshell! I can't wait to meet everyone!
I was excited too when I figured out how to post pics. But I never would have done it without Beth's help!Testing to see if I can post a picture...

I did it!! That is so exciting!
Some years ago we were in line for Splash Mountain, there were two couples who had to be at least 75 - 80 just ahead of us. Both ladies put on their oldy-timey rain hats (the ones that fold up like accordions) and climbed on the ride with their husbands. They obviously had been on the attraction before. I turned to my then teenaged daughter and said "You are NEVER too old to enjoy Disneyland.
Minnie...thank you for the welcome.
Three years ago I got my then 86 year old Mom on Splash Mountain. After the ride she looked at the drop and said Did I REALLY do that?????
So it's true you're never too old. I hope I'll still be enjoying the rides when I'm that old.
