what do you do in Disney when it is raining?

We go through the stores normally. Once we rodeHaunted Mansion like five times, there is a door that lets you to the ride part again, that the cast members let all the people riding go through.

We go and hit every ride we want! Usually people aren't out, so we go to the popular rides and take advantage of the short waits. We've even ridden Splash Mountain while it rained! Last trip, we met Tiana while it was raining. We were looking in a shop when she walked up, and there was no wait, we just walked up and took our time talking to her :)

Head to Downtown Disney and go to Disney Quest, Splitsville or the AMC Movie Theatre or grab some rain ponchos and and go to one of parks.

We will wait it out in the stores for a bit, but if it keeps raining we just go and continue our day. :)

On our last trip we were in Downtown Disney when it started pouring, and we had one regular and one small umbrella between the six of us! So we ended up sitting in the World of Disney store reading instructions of their games on the walls! It was sort of funny-I'll never forget it!

It seems like in the summer it rains nearly every day (at least in May when we've gone) for an hour then is done. When we're in the parks, we'll try to take advantage and hit rides, unless it's near meal time. then we'll help crowd restaurants :D

This past August on our first day/night we were eating in cosmic rays/starlight cafe in mk and then it started pouring and we stayed in there for about 45 minutes and then we got ponchos at the stitch gift shop and then we literally ran and went under roofs until we finally got to space mountain! Boy was that fun...NOT! Nothing stopped us really!

Honestly we put on some ponchos and deal with it! It rains so much in Florida that there's nothing else you can do. Rain makes the strollers go away anyway! One rainy day, we did every Fantasyland ride before 9:30 am, not even kidding. (Park had 8:00 EMH) The waits on rides that are usually 75 ish were 20 or less. Space Mountain was 25 minutes long at night, which is basically unheard of.

When I went to Epcot it rained, and everyone left except for me and my family and we went on EVERY RIDE. Like, no joke, it's AWESOME!!

We don't let rain ever stop us! We just put on our ponchos and hit whatever rides we want! A little rain isn't going to stop us :)

We don't even spend money on ponchos :D We're on so many rides and just moving one to the next quickly, we rarely find a true need for them, other than sometimes covering up stuff in Kali River Rapids (I'm always worried those compartments won't work or something) or Splash Mountain.

If its storming I usually go to hotel and watch Disney shows and if its just raining I put on a rain coat and do the same as I would if it wasn't raining:moped::blush:
