Did you know that the Aussies consider 87 to be the Devil's number?



Why?

It's 13 away from 100. And according to a widely held (but totally debunked) belief...more Australian cricketers have gotten out on 87 than any other number.

WOW, that is pretty cool....

Hopefully today I can get somethings done around the house, and the devil will stay out of it...

I got about 20 pounds of tomato's (more now than yesterday) to can.... Today's plan is diced, which is the easiest of all kinds to take care of.

So maybe I need a little prayer to cover no burning of tomatoes...

OK i turned out to be 53 pounds of tomatoes and I had to buy another case of quart jars....


I will post some pictures tomorrow.. Salsa and diced tomatoes!!!!

Recipes are easy...

Diced is....

Wash tomatoes, blanch tomatoes, skin and core tomatoes, cut tomatoes and place in jars, 1/4 tablespoon lemon juice in each jar, seal jar, hot water bath 30 minutes, take out of water, cool and done!


Salsa, a little more stuff involved, will get that for you later...

in two days we canned 112 pounds of tomatoes......I am done,,, no more. All my towels are stained red, even my fingernails were stained...
