Hi Cruisers,:wave2:

My family and I are booked for this cruise! We are so excited to be going on the Fantasy for the first time!:goodvibes Cruising is DH, myself, DS (14@time of cruise) and DD (8@time of cruise). I look forward to getting to know you all and meeting on the ship. :cool1:

:beach: I have added your thread to the cruise meet list
Have a great cruise! pixiedust:

My sister and I will be joining you at this point. :cool1:

Not sure who else will jump in with us. We have a group we've sailed with but there not sure if they want to do this or not. we did Western Caribbean the last time and none of us liked the ports so there a little worried that this will be the same. I don't think so from what I'm reading but right now were booked.

This will be our 5th Disney cruise and the 2nd time on the Fantasy. You will have an amazing time.

Were in a Category 5C with a balcony.:cool1:

I'll keep following the boards.

489 days from today we all leave Yah !!!

Welcome!:)

I was very pleased to see that this date is for eastern and not western. I already had the date in mind, but of course I didn't know what itinerary it was going to be until the schedule was released the other day! Our first cruise was last year on the Wonder and I have to say, I enjoyed the size of the ship, but I'm excited to be on a bigger ship and see how they compare. :goodvibes I'm trying to convince some of my family members to come along, but we shall see if it happens. I hope the time goes by fast!:lmao:

We have friends we've been on our last 3 cruises with but I think they are jumping ship this time around. The one girls husband is a fire fighter and he doesn't like the idea of 2 days back to back at sea. They may do a 4 day in September. We will miss them but we will have a blast.

You will love this ship it's huge but just gorgeous.

I have a busy summer planned this year so I'm sure the time will be here before we know it.

My husband and I will be on this cruise as well. This will be our 5th Disney Cruise, but our first time on a 7 night and first time on the Fantasy. My husband has not enjoyed the 3 & 4 night cruises as much as me in the past because of Nassau and it doesn't seem like there's ever enough time to get everything done and relax both.
I'm thinking this one will be more relaxed because of the extra sea day which he will like. We chose a 5E corner room, which I'm really excited about. We like the extra space on the verandah and DH likes the proximity to Cabanas and the Adult area. We had this category on the DVC cruise and really liked it, but we like the price tag on this cruise better considering we paid more for the DVC one.(never again)
For those of you who have been on a 7 night cruise, what are the differences? I understand there's Palo brunch and different shows. Very excited about this cruise, just wish it was about a year sooner.

Welcome Karebear06,:wave2:

Our first cruise was on the Wonder last year out of Galveston for 7nights. I bet the 3-4 nights feel like there is not enough time. I would think its one or the other: relax or try to do things like movies and character pictures, etc. We are going to try to go this year on a 4night dream cruise, but it will be just to relax. On our first cruise I was determined to get it all done character pictures for my kids and classes with DH, so we were very busy.:rotfl2: Now I'm ready for the kids to be in the club and DH and myself do something or nothing at all.:thumbsup2 on the Dream if we go. On the 7night Wonder we had a character breakfast, but I just read somewhere that the character breakfast is not on the Fantasy.:( The 7night to me was great, it didn't seem like time was going too fast it felt just right. As far as shows go I know each ship has a couple different shows, for example the Wonder had Toy Story and I have seen one of the ships had a show called Villains, just to give you an idea. Other than that I personally don't know what else is different since I haven't done a 3-4night yet. Sorry.

I'm super excited for this cruise and can't wait for the time to go bye quickly!:cool1:

Welcome to all who have joined in this past week.

My sister and I have done a 3-4-5 & a 7 night on the Fantasy and it's amazing you actually have time to relax, explore the ship, and enjoy many of the dinning options without feeling like you have to stuff your self trying things.

We could probably never go back to a 3 or 4 night cruise since we've done a 5 & 7 night. The only reason we would probably do a 5 night is to do a double dip.

We love cruising with Disney and are a little skeptical to do another cruise line.

My son is all grown up now so he doesn't want to join us but I hope someday to bring my grandson. He's 21/2.

It's been a week now since we booked it's hard to believe. I hate to wish a year away but it's certainly fun planning it.

We will probably join the FE group as we have never done that before.

I know it's really far out, but with the FE list is there going to be a max number of staterooms involved?

Yes, I will cap it at 20 cabins per group. Those who want to join more than 1 FE group can just let me know and I will put them in however many more they want to join. dde09

Hello All!

We will be joining you on this sailing! YIPEE!! This is our 2nd cruise - our first was the exact same itinerary, the same ship, and about the same time (10/05/13). We were celebrating our oldest daughters 5 year cancer free anniversary and we loved it so much we decided we would definitely be going again...we even got our same cabin!! :cool1:

Looking forward to getting to know you all! :thumbsup2

Hi everyone!

We just booked our cruise on the Disney Fantasy for the 9/26/15 sailing! We went on the same exact cruise last October and loved it so much that we're doing it again.

I noticed the fish extenders on the first cruise and would like to join in on the fun. How can I do that?

Laura

We will be on this cruise!

This will be our second cruise, just DD12 and I, and we chose a 5E aft verandah stateroom. We are impatiently counting down the days! :woohoo:

Welcome Laurathehokie,

Your a second timer like TamaraH.:thumbsup2 I'm sure you ladies will be able to give up some good info on the Fantasy. We have been on the Wonder and I'm sure you its about half the size, so I'm a little intimidated, but I'm sure with everyones help I will be good.:goodvibes In regards to the FE, the sign up is on the first post. :cool1:

Thank you! Our last cruise was on the Dream. We loved it, but it just wasn't long enough! We'll probably leave the Fantasy thinking it wasn't long enough either lol. :rotfl:

Wow Laurathehokie - you sound like us. We did the same exact cruise last October too! Which sailing were you on? We were on 10/5 any chance you were on the same one?

Hello fellow cruisers!

DH and I will be joining you on this lovely cruise. This will be our fifth Disney cruise, twice on the Magic and three times on the Fantasy. This is also the second time we've been on this itinerary and it is our favorite itinerary! We are sailing as a celebration of our ten year wedding anniversary. Our anniversary is actually Sept. 24th, but we don't care for the western ports much so we pushed it out a week to get the eastern. So excited!!!:cool1:
