The GH Official Thread Part 3

I can't believe I'm saying this but I like Patrick with Sam and Liz with Jake. Ric should get back together with Alexis. That's all ;)

I mostly agree, but I like Alexis with Julian. I think Ric and Ava could be entertaining...

I'm wondering if the little girl playing Georgie is really Bradford Anderson (Spinelli's) daughter. She would be about the right age and she looks just like him.

ITA!!!!! and I really don't care WHO Robin ends up with, or even if she is out in the cold... never mind leaving patrick, after everyone thinking she was dead for so long,, but what kind of mother leaves a little daughter like Emma again???

I like sam and patrick. what about sabrina though? maybe Michael? as they work on the clinic together?

I think I figured out why so many of our DVRs didn't record Monday's episode. If you're like me, you probably have your DVR set to only record new episodes. When they show a repeat, it doesn't record. Yesterday's episode was supposed to be shown on Friday but was rescheduled. When the TV listings were revised, it might have been labeled as a rerun, hence our DVRs didn't recognize it as a new episode. I guess the lesson here is that if an episode is rescheduled, we need to check our DVRs and set up a manual recording for that day, if necessary.

I'm pretty sure that is what happened to me too. Also, I really hate when they preempt an episode due to news events and show at the bottom of the screen "this episode will be shown at 2:00 a.m.". I watch a few episodes at a time so it's too late to see it when it's been shown already.:furious:...I really miss the Soapnet channel.

Well, I'm officially bored again. I let 6 days worth of new episodes accumulate before plowing through them in 90 minutes. My observations: Maxie and Nathan should audition for the Time Travelers Wife remake.... from one coast to the other in less than ten minutes. (And who knew that Beecher's Corners was such a budding metropolis to have it's own airport with a runway long enough for a corporate jet?) After pretty much forgetting Johnny, he is suddenly freed within 30 minutes. And Julian is in the "pen" within ten.

Gotta love Pentonville Penitentiary where the prisoners have cell phones in their pockets to take important business calls........:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I don't recall ever hearing about Luke and Bobbie's long lost sister Patricia, but we sure are hearing about her now. Is it possible that Patricia had gender reassignment surgery and is now Fluke? Apparently there was bad blood, so it would explain Fluke's utter disgust for Bobbie. I think all the talk about Bill Eckert is a red herring. It would be too obvious it were him.

This sounds good - gender reassignment or not! When Luke said I know who you are he never said "Bill Eckert" it was just left to us to assume that's who it was.

What cracked me up was Bobbie talking about how bad Bill Eckert was. Maybe my memory is fuzzy but I don't remember him that way. I mean Luke was a rapist mobster for Pete's sake and she acts like he's the Messiah! And is anyone else uncomfortable with her over the top bad acting? I really don't remember it being this bad when she was younger. And her face looks like it's melted from the fillers and bad work she's had done on it.

Robin, I grew up with Jackie - she was one of my very good friends in our early teen years. I have followed her career since OLTL.

I have to agree, her acting is not nearly of the caliber it once was. And why that once-beautiful woman wouldn't let herself age naturally makes me very sad. Her face does look better than it did a year or 2 ago, but she still looks so unnatural. :sad2:

The story lines are so far-fetched and boring. The writers aren't honoring much of the show's history either -- changing the past to suit their current saga. :headache:

It hurts me that JZ feels that she needed to do that to get/keep roles. She looked so much more natural with a little "mileage" on her face, now, it looks unnatural. I also think that she feels the need to out-Lynn Lynn Herring, who has always been over the top.

Rewriting history is getting so old around GH I'm back to fast forwarding, even on characters I never used to on. And who in the heck IS Nathan's father? And do we care? (Unless it turns out to be Frisco, and then it's just EWWWW!). And is anyone else tired of robo-Jake?

That certainly seems to be the direction they're headed Luv Bunnies. Good thinking! At least it will be a nice change from explaining it away with rubber masks.

Yesterday's election episode seemed so out of place. Yuck, it was terrible!!

I started rewatching GH during the 50th celebration after a 20 year hiatus. It has been such a disappointment lately. I am surprised the actors are sticking around for these poorly written stories.

Yesterdays episode was definitely a head scratcher..... seeing them hang the poster then the poster faded and frayed. And the whole ballot box mess, I swear when Spencer started claiming he saw a man and woman throw it into the water the first thing through my mind was "and she and Billy Joe was throwin' something off the Tallahatchee bridge" from Ode to Billy Joe!

by Carol Banks Weber

Soap Opera Digest online reported last week January 10th that its setside sources claim Kristen Alderson (Kiki) “is out at GH and will wrap her run very soon.” Chad Duell (Michael) tweeted right after that his girlfriend decided to exit the show.

The new Agent Sloane is Grayson McCouch  (ex-Dusty, ATWT), replacing Rob Derringer.

Derek Theler and Melissa Peterman will guest-star on a special Valentine’s Day show February 13, featuring Olivia and Ned, and a GH case. Who? Theler and Peterman are the leads in the ABC Family series, Baby Daddy. Theler will play Derek, a doctor friend of Patrick’s, and Peterman’s going to be Melissa Santoro Picard, a friend of Olivia’s from their Bensonhurst days.

**Maybe Sonny never murdered A.J. Maybe another character came in later and really did it. This would free the mobster from Pentonville.**
