How to Cheer up After Leaving Disney World

Also, don't forget:
  1. write a tr
  2. start a ptr (if you have another trip planned)
  3. go on the disney food blog and make a recipe

your tips will probably help and thank you but i still dont think that there is a cure for disney sadness

I just basically try to keep myself as busy as possibly with stuff. Like the last time I went to WDW was in August and when we got back it was almost time to start school again so I kept busy getting all my school supplies and putting my binders togethers. Then the next thing I knew it was time to start the school year which certainly kept me busy.

Since I have only been to Walt Disney World once in my life at least I have only had to deal with this once. I remember heading back to the airport after staying a week at Walt Disney World and being very sad. When I got home that evening I remember just wanting to go to my room and mope. I wrote a lot in my Journal for several days about my trip and I also spent a lot of time with my friends telling them about my trip. I really didn't try not to think about my trip, but to tell everyone I knew how wonderful the vacation was. This made me happy.

Ever since i have been with my Boyfriend which is going on 1 year and 6 months on July 22, 2015 I have been on two trips to Walt Disney World. Of course when the vacation is over I am pretty sad and miss being there. So I pretty much since I have had Jake(my boyfriend) I have run into his arms after a trip and let him comfort me and spend a lot of time with him. It doesn't take very long for him to be able to make me smile again.

That is a great idea, but wouldn't quite work for me right now because I don't have a boyfriend. :)

We generally plan a few days at Disney and then go on to visit family in Florida, so I have seeing my Dad to look forward to when we actually leave the hotel. When we finally get back to Massachusetts, I'm already a little distanced from the parks, and glad to be back with our pets, so that helps too.

Well, when I got back from WDW, my girlfriend and I were very bored / sad so we made sure we remembered every detail of it by looking at all the photos we took and deciding which we were to print out in preparation of making a scrapbook. Unfortunately, looking at the pictures makes us both happy and sad, so we're waiting a little until we actually put it all together
:figment:

Even though I live really close to WDW, and go all the time. I still get that excited feeling in me everytime, and get really disappointed when we have to go home from the park. I usually go home watch youtube videos of Disney rides, watch a Disney movie, and if later in the week I don't have much to do I would go to Downtown Disney. It always help me. I also look at pictures from the day we went to the park.

I basically try to avoid all things that remind me of Disney for about 2 weeks after the trip. If the trip is in the Summer I try to get my parents to set up a Summer Camp for me shortly after the trip. I don't watch Disney Movies or listen to Disney music it sometimes helps.
