How long has Target been out of Ebay gcs?

Forever.

Really just a week or somewhere around there.

I figured out how to make ebay let me use giftcards. I had to use Paypal for at least a portion of my purchase. I bought Best Buy gift cards and one $25 Sears gift card, and since I was using PPDG, I had to confirm the purchase at least 3 times, but at least I have an order in, and took advantage of the ebucks offer. If I was able to find a physical card that would be good for churning, I could have just paid for the shipping using Paypal, which would be less money, but I would have to wait longer to get the card!

How did you use PayPal for part of the order? All my eBay gift cards are nice round numbers. :/

Okay, so I added 2 x $100 and 1 x $25 cards to my cart. Tried to check out and it REMOVED my eBay gift cards and said that some of the codes couldn't be used for the order and it wanted me to put all $225 on my credit card linked to my PayPal account. I'm ready to beat my head on the desk. I'm thinking I just need to give up.

I put $225 worth of gift cards in my cart, then gave codes for up to $200 worth of ebay gift cards. That left $25 that still needed to be paid for, and that's what I used Paypal for.

Yah, I tried. No dice. It removed my gift card codes and said that "some payment methods can't be used for this order" and wanted me to put all $225 on my PayPal.

Lovely. Well, every time I try it wants to verify and then it tells me there may be unauthorized attempts. I've had to reset my password half a dozen times. I'm done. I guess I'll just hold my breath and hope Target cards come back.

I went into Best Buy this morning and bought $100 Disney and $200 eBay with the $300 I converted to BB last week with the 10% ebucks promotion. . When I came home this afternoon I saw the email for the 8% offer. I bought $200 Best Buy with my new card I just bought today. I decided to just go with the $200 and not try for anymore. Last week when I tried to buy twice in the same day I got locked out. So, I am keeping it slow and steady.

Does CVS sell ebay gc's?

CVS will not allow you to purchase a GC with a CVS GC. I bought them because I know that I will use them and they were a good deal, especially with the 8% ebucks.

Also be aware that CVS gift cards can only be used in store. You can't use them online. That caught me off guard.

Yes. BB's POS system allows it in store, but YMMV with the cashiers.

As I'm still in the beginning stages, here's what I got today:

Funded this initial purchase of $100 GS by purchasing at Raise through SB. Got 7% off at Raise and 1% through SB.

Got them immediately, printed them out and and went into GS and loaded the $100 on to a loadable eBay card. Used my power rewards for another 2%. Took my $100 eBay and another $25 in eBay and bought $125 in BB through PPDG. I went through ebates and got another 1% plus the 8% eBay bucks.

It was my first time using PPDG, and I got it within 45 minutes. Now, I just hope that my BB doesn't give me an issue. I hope to get out there shortly, in order to do another churn tonight in the next couple hours.

I got to cash out quickly, though, as my trip is end of the summer, and I don't want to push my luck. I will gear up after that trip to really make a dent in the cost. This trip, I'm hoping to knock 15-20% off. It won't take many rounds to get there.

Had my hubs go into BB on his way home from work (it's about a half hour from our house and my work, but only 10 minutes out of his way from his office). He went in with a printed out $50 BB ecard and brought the ebay card to the cashier. He said he handed her the ebay card and put the BB card down on the counter and she said "So you're trying to buy a gift card with a gift card". When he said yes, she told him he couldn't do that as it is against store policy. I know all of these methods can be YMMV to a point, but after reading so many success stories I was really hoping this would work for me. So no cashing in on the 4x promo for me.

Oh well, guess we'll have to try out GS now to see if that might work. Other than that, I'm not sure what else to try. I don't need my funds until next May so I definitely still have time to wait it out and see if Target comes back at all.

I just got my first ppdg order to go through.Whew! How can I check my local BB's site to see if they have ebay in stock? It is 30 minutes away and I don't want to drive there for nothing.

I don't know how far a 30-minute drive is for you, or what kind of gas mileage your car gets on a round trip, but I'd really consider whether it is worth it for a churn that will result in just $24 eBay Bucks. Maybe you could swing by when you're in the area. This is certainly less convenient than ordering GCs from GCM and Target.

I don't mean to laugh at your misfortune, but I had to chuckle because this is almost verbatim what the BB cashier asked me this morning before she denied the transaction. I just went to a different BB and it worked fine.

I don't know what it is about that question that's so absurd. In my mind, if I get a GC from someone to a store where there's nothing I need, but they sell GCs for other places where I do want to spend money, I'm going to want to use my GC to buy another GC. But I know stores that allow this are more the exception to the rule.

I missed out on the last Ebay bonus bucks due to GCM being out of stock. I'd love to go the Game Stop route but I'm scared I'll get stuck with Game Stop cards!! LOL!
