Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Thank you! I figured that would be the case. We are flying down. Do you know of somewhere we could maybe take a taxi to after we arrive at the Beach Club?
I think the closest off site shop will be the Speedway Petrol Garage behind the Boardwalk, but can't vouch for the prices. We usually drive to a Walgreens, there's about 4 within 10-12 min drive. (I'd take an Uber over a Taxi.)

The other option is to use Garden Grocer or Amazon Pantry etc to get some booze delivered :)

I was informed of this on this thread a couple of months ago. Its called Rainkissed Leaves "found" at Bath and Body Works. I say "found" because I immediately went to the store to get some for my DD and DDIL for our upcoming June trip, only to find out that that fragrance has been retired and the store didn't carry it anymore. However, you can still find it on their website. Unfortunately I couldn't find candles under that name but they do have shower gel, lotion and hand soaps so I did order a few of those for the girls.

If you have better luck in finding candles with that scent please let me know!
Google has sucked on this one.

You can buy the scent to make your own candles though!

My family will be returning back to the Beach Club this August. This is a very important question...it is regarding alcoholic beverages! :-) What is my best way to purchase wine and beer? Does anyone know how much a bottle of wine costs at the Marketplace? Thank you so much for your help!

We used to use beer run but I don't think they are in business anymore. Last time we went to the gas station near Disney Springs. I forget which one it is but you can take the Disney busses and walk over but then you have to lug your stash back on the bus which may be a bit odd. I'm also bringing a tervis mug so I can bring some bud light limes down to SAB!

We order from Garden Grocer for delivery to our resort. There is a $40 minimum order but we also order some breakfast foods, juice, a case of water, cheese and crackers for a snack and beer and wine. I am very happy with them

Thank you all so much for your help! I will look into putting an order together from Garden Grocer. I just checked it out and the prices seem pretty reasonable. Love the tervis mug tip! It is going on my list!

Looking to finalize everything soon for my honeymoon in July. I know I can mention that it's my honeymoon, but would this be done on an online form or do I have to call in to make that note? Same thing with food reservations.

There is also a Speedway behind Boardwalk and it is a fairly painless walk from BC and the EPCOT Resorts although those cases get heavy on the way back. :rotfl2: Not a huge selection, but you will probably find something.

Why a Tervis mug to take to Stormalong? We always pack a cooler of cans and have never had an issue or is it because you are using glass bottles? Just curious? :confused3

Oh just to keep it cold... we take a soft sided cooler too with cans :)

I am so sorry to hear your stay has been disappointing so far!

Please share your concerns at the front desk- if you are willing to switch rooms kindly ask if there is something else available with a better view and without Skipper Salty.

Is this the guy?

I have not stayed at the YC yet, but I don't think he is in every room. Is he? (YC vets)?

Crossing my fingers for you!

:goodvibes

Ive never had this dude in my rooms!

I'll be in beach club next september for the first time! I'm really excited to try a Deluxe resort in Disneyworld. Since I live in Italy, I have to spend really lots of money into flights and trasportation, so I always stayed at the Values resorts. But this time will be extra special :D

I've heard from numerous persons that the bus system at the Beach club is not really good....any tips? During my first morning I have an AR for Cinderella royal table at 7.55 and I would love to be there really early...

We didn't have any bus issues last time we were there, the screens have been useful for checking the times too

I have a lot of catching up to do on this thread, I'm behind about 8 pages. I usually am able to read everyone's posts, but don't do a thorough reply to everyone unless I have a large chunk of time. Here's my excuse this time...

The teachers running this year's class trip did not have park tickets until 28 days before the trip. So when we booked FP at EPCOT a couple of weeks ago, all of the Test Track ones were gone and Soarin' was not available. On Saturday, when Disney released the new Fast Passes including old version of Soarin, M:S bumped to Tier 2, I wanted to get the kids a better schedule. As anyone knows who was trying on Saturday or early Sunday, website kept crashing. I especially had difficulty because there are 10 large groups, one with 25 people.

Anyway, wanted to reply to this since I found something that may be relevant.

Hey fellow Beach Clubbers, I can't for the life of me remember what the brand of candle was that smelt exactly like the Beach Club Lobby? Hopefully I can get them to ship to the UK too :)

I'm trying to get ahead of the game for my Wife's birthday!

Dee, can you put me down for a stay at BC on 14th June 2017 :)

Candle Info, Disney Avenue

I was just going back in my Facebook feed from last year looking for something and I found a post I was tagged in about Disney smells. I don't know if I ever posted it here or not. I haven't tried ordering anything here, so I can't vouch for the quality.

:thumbsup2

Oh nice, I didn't know they added the time screens there too! I knew they added them at the boardwalk inn and in some other resorts. That's really usefull :)

Thanks for the info!

I don't know if this is in the Room info post, but I was worried that my laptop would not fit in the wall safe as they are a fair bit smaller than the box ones elsewhere in WDW. I can confirm that a 15'' MacBook Pro fits' in the save with around 2 inches to spare around in all 3 dimensions :)
