Language on the shows getting a little too salty?

This is a company that has given us:

A crow named Jim, that is a caricature of Americans of Sub-Saharan African descent.
A drunk elephant that had hallucinations
Underage drinking
Child abuse
A single woman, living in a house with 7 men. Who also thought that cleaning and cooking would make her welcome
That very single woman being the target of a murderous plot over her 'fairness'
A guy into necrophilia
A pathological liar
Trump level Mexican stereotypes
Animal abuse and plots to abuse animals
A menagerie of characters with psychological disorders
Another kleptomaniac who is also a peeping tomette
Forcible confinement
Racism in at least 3 other movies, one as recently as the 90's

Disney is not the most wholesome thing in the world when you actually look at the messages, imagery and context of what they produce. So a little 'salty' language and some hose jokes shouldn't offend another that has watched the majority of the Disney canon.

I have to admit, this week's DISpop was my favorite yet, BECAUSE of the "saltiness"

Their point is that Disney has some very adult undertones and themes in their movies, so a little innuendo shouldn't be a shock to anyone listening to a Disney related podcast.

If the language and humor are bothering you, maybe it's best if you take a break from the show? They've made it very clear that they don't care about the feedback on this stuff, and that's their right.
Maybe it's just not the right fit for you?

Supergirl.
Wonderman is actually a (male) Marvel character, who apparently is being played by Nathan Fillion in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (and yes, I had to google Wonderman).
Personally, while I haven't read a Supergirl comic, well, ever (although that might change because her new Rebirth series starts on my birthday), I find her skirt on the show to not be too bad. So that comment confused me, it didn't offend me.

I got a free digital copy of DC Rebirth last week and I really enjoyed it (I've always been a bit more of a DC Comics person in terms of characters anyway ... sorry Disney). They came out with a few more Rebirth issues today (different individual character storylines), and I'm trying to decide if I want to pick up one or more. So when I run out of money for bills because I've spent it all on comic books ... I can thank Ryno for that.

I got a free digital copy of DC Rebirth last week and I really enjoyed it (I've always been a bit more of a DC Comics person in terms of characters anyway ... sorry Disney). They came out with a few more Rebirth issues today (different individual character storylines), and I'm trying to decide if I want to pick up one or more. So when I run out of money for bills because I've spent it all on comic books ... I can thank Ryno for that.

I have no idea about DC vs Marvel in the way of characters, I'm a total comic virgin, however, I'm liking the sound of the Haunted mansion ones.
And I'm also pondering if there are Harry Potter ones....?

I know a lot of the big name characters from TV and movies (I'm actually watching all of the DC Comics TV shows and the Marvel Netflix series these days), so I've kinda gotten a sense of which characters come from which company. I'm not a huge Haunted Mansion fan (I know, I know), so I really don't have much interest in those, but from what Oliver and Ryno said, it really sounds like they're interesting if you like the ride - might be worth checking out.
No Harry Potter ones that I've been able to find (I've looked online, but nothing), but maybe (hopefully?) they'll come out with some eventually (that would definitely force me to take a pilgrimage to a comic book store).

Oh, I'd nerd it right up if there was a HP series.
I think comic book stores are few and far between Down under, but I believe there's one in Melbourne CBD, and one in Geelong (a city outside of Melbourne, and where I work) so I could get my hands on comics if I could be bothered driving to the store

Because of Ryno, I spent more than cover price on an already-in-plastic bag copy of Captain America. I don't read many comics these days, but I will this one....

No HP comics, not sure if JKR would allow it. If you like the TV show Bob's Burgers they have a comic that's pretty cute.

I'm sure Pete does listen. Maybe not every show or every minute of every show but it's getting positive feedback according to him. I haven't watched the latest dis pop episode but if that was borderline pornographic then so is most TV shows these days.

The only 2 things that happened is they spoke a little about a child's toy from years ago and the word '******' was used (the scientific, proper word for a lady garden). That's some TAME pornography lol.
