Just checking in. Been a busy weekend, Youngest granddaughter, Catarina had her first birthday party and today the kids had her dedicated at church. It was a great weekend.

Too busy with work, but Sunday was good.
Saturday (Friday night -> Sunday morning)
I worked 'til 7am then went home to sleep.

Sounds busy... but good!
My weekend was busy too.
Too busy with work, but Sunday was good.

I did have today off.
I spent it... sleeping in a bit,
Running to the store to get
ingredients for brunch.
Running back to the store
for milk. (Dang it!)
Making Belgian waffles
with honey, maple syrup, whip cream,
strawberries, bananas and peaches.
Mowing the lawn.
Cleaning out the garage.
Cooking supper.
Making breaded chicken,
mashed potatoes, gravy
and corn on the cob.
Going to my folk's place
because some people I know
were in from Holland.
Coming home and on the DIS.

Pretty full day.

But did get a bit more done on the update.

Well, besides having lunch with my mother, helping my friend and her son sell popcorn for cub scouts, picking up a Vera Bradley backpack that I got off a FB garage sale site, going to a garage sale and going to two Goodwills. Also did the dog, cat, house sitting thing. So guess... it was the coolest thing ever!!!

OOO,,,,,,some good news, maybe. We might not be going to WDW next year but we may be able to go to Vegas. I have points that I've saved up so we might be able to get some nights, buffets, and/or shows for free! Probably just stay for four nights. Also DH might be getting a really good bonus at the end of November so part of that money will go towards Vegas. We also need a new washing machine.

When you headed to Vegas? Lady H and I got invited for next April. If you're down there then, you can hook me up with one of your free buffets. Ponzi keeps going to WDW so don't look like he's going to Vegas anytime soon.

There's a good chance you probably did and I missed it. Now when you get ready to come down is when I can't go.

Lady H and I talked about possibly going back next year. Then again, we want to go to Hawaii or back to Cancun. Although Cancun is a little scary after what happened last time. Have to finish getting through my probationary period first with my new job before we can consider going anywhere. Usually like to go for a week at a time, but we also want to buy a camper. Decisions, decisions.
