"Official" Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2016 - Have Yourself a Very Mickey Christmas.

I'm curious about this as well
We grabbed spots right in front of the shooting gallery for the first parade on 11/29 - I would guess it was only around 30-40 minutes ahead of time. There were a few people sitting on those big block things, so I hung out there while DH and DD went on BTMR. The Country Bears were dancing and having fun with people while we waited. When the CMs finally put up ropes, I grabbed a spot, and probably waited about 15 minutes or so before the parade started.

So for the second parade, it seems like it would be even less than that.

Is there an updated map showing BTMR open? I want to provide copies to my kids in advance. Thanks!

Does anyone know the times that Voice Play performs? I checked the first post of the thread and tried to search the boards but I can't find anything.

Hey guys! I tried buying tickets for December 22nd and they are sold out. I'm pretty disappointed since I take my son every year and this the only day I can go because he has school. Any suggestions on how I can find some tickets for this day???? I sure would appreciate any advice. Would hate to miss it

For those of you who went this week -- how has the weather been at night? Of course I had custom short sleeve shirts made and I'm wondering if I should run out and buy a long sleeve shirt to go under them. We're from NJ so it'll still be warmer there then here :) I'm looking at the 10 day and it looks like it'll be in the high 70's next week when we go.

I went to the party on 12/1 and I'm from Canada (which is still a bit cooler than NJ). I wore tank/shorts in the afternoon when I got in, then just put on a light hoodie (the kind of fabric that is a bit see-through) at night. I'd probably bring something to go over them rather than under, it would be pretty hot before the sun sets. I didn't really find it really cold, more breezy for me.

Anyone do 2nd parade in Frontierland or Liberty square and get first rows. What time did you line up?

I grabbed a front row spot just 15 mins before the parade started across Pecos Bill, similar to another poster here.

The dwarves came out at 6:20 tonight.
Can anyone confirm that Santa Goofy currently meets at animal kingdom? I'm trying to figure out if I need to make it to tonight's meet or if I can wait until Saturday. Thanks!

Santa Goofy meets at Animal Kingdom! I saw him there last week.

Can someone please point me to a link or a page on this thread that lists the locations of each character during MVMCP? I specifically want to know the locations for the Seven Dwarfs and Nick & Judy. :thanks:

Party experience 12/8
3:42 - started letting us in!
Shopped in the Emporium
Buzz Lightyear
4:35 - got in line for nick and Judy (4th group)
6:15 exactly - nick and Judy came out
6:30 - got in line for the ducks (3rd in line but there was this huge confusion where the line began. A lot of people were already waiting but in the wrong spot. Moral of the story: Don't listen to other guests, listen to cast members for directions)
7:05 - ducks came out
(Here is where I lost track of actual time)
After the ducks we met daisy/Minnie, pooh and friends, and rapunzel/tiana with their princes.
Around 9:10 we got on jingle cruise.
9:35 - got a spot on Main Street in front of Starbucks for parade/fireworks
There was barely anyone by us for the fireworks. Parade was crowded. If you want a first row spot on Main Street for the late parade, get it before the fireworks.
12a - castle show which I loved!

We also stopped in big top souvineers and 3 of the treat stops. Favorite was peppermint bark cookies in tomorrowland. Hope this helps!! Have fun and bring layers!

Like others said, they let us in at 3:42 yesterday! They were handing out large snowmen cookies at the backstage path area.

I was a little disappointed that almost all the stations only had the snowman cookies. We got the molasses ginger ones at one stop.

This was our only time at MK(or any park) since we are really here for a cruise today so we focused on rides. BTDT with the characters. We were also without the children so we could hustle a bit more :)

At 11:11 we enter 7DMT for the first time and the wait was about 10 minutes(40 mins posted). By midnight we rode it 3 times and made it to Peter Pan.

We caught the first parade by the beginning. It was nice but I was a little disappointed they were not all wearing the lighted outfits like the other night parades. I didn't research/read about the parade at all so I didn't know what to expect.

We watched the fireworks from the garden areas by the hub. It was not crowded and you could have snuck in right before it started and found a spot. It was a great location.

The weather was PERFECT! We stopped by the character warehouse on the way and I picked up a red hat for $3. I brought gloves from home. I only needed my sweater in the last two hours and I probably would have been fine without it. Never needed the hat or gloves :) It also never rained which was nice. We brought ponchos just in case but only wore them for splash mountain.

It was a great night :)

Thanks for all the tips! My 8yo son and I had an amazing time on 12/8. Check the app for any ride closures before trekking through the park and 10:45 in front of Peco Bills was perfect. We used a locker for the 1st time for the coats and drinks we needed later. Always push the little ones for bathroom breaks when convenient (vs right at the parade or fireworks) and don't forget the battery charger. We lost charge right at the toy soldiers and the rest of the night was only captured in the mind, as the very best late night MKs are meant to be!

I haven't found the answer to this:
Is hot water available at the hot chocolate stations so that I can bring my own dairy-free hot chocolate substitute?
If not, does anyone know what they would charge for a coffee cup of hot water at a QS location?

Greetings!

Went to the party on 12/6. Weather was warm (had on long sleeves under t shirts and had to take them off). However it's pretty chilly here today.

Got in before 4. It was pretty crowded on main street. We did Jingle Cruise, Dumbo, Barnestormer, and Small World. Got in line for 7D around 5:45 while DH took the kids to get snacks and ride Pooh. They came out at 6:15. Probably done around 6:45. That was the only character that was a must do. It seems all the lines for the characters are long so if you are able to divide and conquer and have other members of your party stand in another line at the same time. After that we got snacks at Gastons and watched the castle lighting.

We did the dessert party. The parade viewing was definitely a plus; however if you aren't sold on viewing the parade on Main Street there seemed to be plenty of spots especially around the train station (our party was not sold out so I'm sure that makes a difference)....the fireworks view at Tomorrow land terrace...well if there was a worst view on the terrace we definitely had it :). There are large pillars in the water toward the far right that blocked all the perimeter fireworks.

After Wishes I followed tips from this board and immediately went to tomorrowland and got in line for Nick and Judy. Waited about 15 minutes! After that we did Buzz Lightyear with little wait.

Could have done more but my family was all partied out.

They have had sugar free hot chocolate in the past for guests. It was anded over as a cup of hot water and the packet of cocoa, so yes, they should have hot water.
