Any of you AFOL (Adult Fans of LEGO)?

My boyfriend wants this so bad. Almost bought it for him as a combined birthday Christmas present but he wasn't buying it. He's a fellow Disney running/lego nerd!

We got one disney blind bag at the mall for kiddo and it was Ursula. She was thrilled because she has Ariel and was using a random robot minifigure as Ursula up to that point :)

Super jealous of that castle!

I am looking into getting a few sets this year. I'm dreading dusting them! My son has had several sets through the years and keeps them on his bookshelves but I find them impossible to keep clean. Any ideas??

Depending on the mass of the set, try a can of compressed air, like for cleaning keyboards. Obviously, minifigures won't 'stand' for this.

Also, men's shaving brushes make pretty good light-weight feather dusters.

I built mine as soon as I got it, but had to take it apart because my cat is a jerkcat and liked to pull off all the pieces at bath them around the room. So many times I woke up and wondered "what happened to Tink and all the white spires??"

I would love for Lego to make a giant one of the Shanghai castle!

Amazing! What sets are all of these??

Thanks! I used these modular building sets in the setup:

Left Side of Street
Town Hall
Grand Emporium
Pet Shop
Palace Cinema

Right Side of Street
Parisian Restaurant
Cafe Corner
Green Grocer
Brick Bank

With Galaxy’s Edge here at DL and opening soon at WDW, I thought I’d share my summer Lego project.

I haven’t built the new Lego UCS Millennium Falcon yet, but I was looking for a good way to display the huge kit and came across plans for Docking Bay 327 from the Death Star online. It looked pretty good, so I decided to gather the pieces and give it a shot. I just finished it and am really pleased with how it turned out, so I thought I’d share.

For scale purposes, the completed display is ~34” x 40” and consists of around 7,800 pieces. Hope you like it!

I’ll post more pictures once I have the Falcon completed and in place.

Mine isn’t displayed in something quite that nice, but I finished it just before Christmas 2018; took about 30 hours, if I remember correctly. I’d do a numbered section or two each session and did about 15 2-hour-ish sessions. I’m very deliberate and usually am somewhat multitasking with television in the background, so by no means was that quick.

I'm really impressed with the patience and fortitude required to build those sets. I tried to build the Lego Darth Vader from around 2005 years ago and while I eventually finished it, the project drove me crazy and I realized that it really wasn't for me. So way to go on getting those sets built. They look awesome!

Very nice! Mine lives on top of one of our dog crates since it’s the safest location for it.
