I have a friend who want to know if it is still tough to get into Trader Sam's or if it has mellowed out there. I have never been.

Anyone have any feedback about how crowded it is these days?

The last time we were there was during Thanksgiving week and we went twice. Once was right at opening - we got a pager and were in just a few minutes past 4PM. The other time was around 5-6PM, and we walked right in, there were several empty seats. It really just varies. The longest we've ever waited to get in on previous trips was maybe 20 minutes. We've never been after 8PM though since we have a little one.

Yep -- tried earlier today and had no luck getting a reservation for any date during my stay during week of April 23

I was able to grab a breakfast ressie for April 23rd around 2:30 yesterday afternoon.

Is this the two hour pirate cruise for kids? There is a pirate cruise out of the Yacht Club Marina that is a lot of fun.

Yes, that was the first one he took back in 2015, and he LOVED it. Last year he went on the one out of GF. Sensing a theme here?

Beach Club 2 bedroom suite with 2 bathrooms and a living room/dining room.

WOW. If I were you, I'd go to the concierge desk and gently explain to them that they needed to cancel all future reservations for that room because I was never. going. to. leave.

Hi @natebenma, please remove me from Be Our Guest list. We are changing to Poly. My DH is only with us part of our stay, and has requested monorail resort. Depending what comes up for room discounts in July, I might be able to do a split stay once he departs, but for now, we have to stick with Bounce Back one resort to get the best price. I will miss you all!

I am so excited, Tuesday I can do our fast passes and will have the trip paid next Friday. 9 weeks from today we leave for the airport!!

Hiya! We'll be coming back "home" from April 28 - May 4 (BCV). We spent our last several trips exploring other resorts around the World to check them off our list, but nothing says "Disney World" to us like being at the Beach Club.

Hey there! Just popping over to request to be added to the BOG list for BC CL Deluxe room 1/4/18-1/10/18 (Marathon weekend!) DH and I will also be celebrating our 20th anniversary (with our kids who will be 18,15 &11) DH is running the marathon and the youngest and I will be doing the 10K

12 Days for us too!!!! I am so excited. It will be my daughter, my mom and myself this trip. Hoping for warm enough weather to enjoy the pool ( I'm a baby and like it hot when I swim, now my daughter will swim in 30 degrees with snow ).

I also wanted to mention that I bought a new hand sanitizing spray that has a smell similar to the Beach Club. Not exactly like it but very close. It is a new product called "Touch" and it is a spray that lasts up to 6 hours, which is awesome for a place like Disney (so many germs!) I bought the Ocean Mist scent. I just received it in the mail today and I'm excited to use it, people are probably going to think I'm weird cause I keep smelling my hands, lol. The company did mess up my order so I am hoping that they will rectify it.

I was reading on a friends FB page that this was happening. People who had booked first thing this morning on the website, 6:30 am, were able to get reservations and they are still in their MDE reservations listing. People calling in or trying to book online later this morning have been unable to do so.

I tried booking online today and got an error. I called and I had a snotty cast member tell me that they do not offer online booking and to call back May 10 or 11 to get it for May 12. I told her that she was not very helpful and that she should suggest I try back often. I also told her I didn't have time to keep calling back to sit on hold for it. She is lucky I didn't do the survey.

It is the worst CM interaction I have ever had.

Will keep looking to see if it opens up online. If not then I try for November.

Did you do the survey at the end of the call? They take that VERY seriously.

We are super excited! We are staying at the BC June 10-17. This is our first time at BC (I do not think we have ever even been on the resort property!) We have a standard room, should I request anything specific?

It appears that no reservations are currently being taken for breakfast, as I checked a variety of dates. Dinner is is showing up, but it's a no-go on breakfast right now. Anyone know if this is a common occurrence? I'm guessing if I just keep checking back it may open up at some point? Hope everyone else has had success with their ADRs!!

I've been trying for the last week of June and nothing either.
