SDFP: CHANGES COMING!! Beware the 7th of June?!

THE PARTY MAY BE ENDING VERY SOON!

- Don't buy any more MagicBands or cards for SDFP.
- Don't use any BORROWED bands after June 1.
- Don't attempt to enter a FP attraction with a prebooked FP unless you used the linked ticket at the park entrance. (This thread has refrained from discussion of this for many months - but now we're saying specifically DO NOT DO IT.)
- Don't add phantoms to your primary MDE profile, if you haven't already done so.

We aren't going to know for sure what all the ramifications are until people report back after June 4th. (Talking to you, Marcie.)

But it would be best if no one uses SDFP after June 4th at the latest until Marcie gives us the specifics.

That would certainly put a crimp into my Disneyworld vacation; May 22-July 7 I've been using three MB from family members that didn't come, 3 MB on a secondary account and 2 MB (1 on each MDE account) that have tickets attached but no one using unused tickets to enter Parks. The daughter leaves for home June 5, so that leaves my son and myself in Orlando until July 8. I have noticed that I can no longer change FP gotten same day on MB with no tickets linked (unless I go back to a kiosk). I'll be happy to report back June 5 if there are any changes.

I had a question about 60 day FP for AK on MNSSHP party. I have a room only res for 1 night and will buy a MNSSHP ticket on that MDE account. Can I only use it to book FP on the date of the party or can I book FP for the previous day. This may be wrong place to ask this.

Well that would be a major bummer. I was planning on trying this for the first time this summer on our early August trip. I have read the whole beginning of this extensively and was thinking about ordering extra MB's soon I guess I will stay tuned.

If this turns out to be true, we will probably cancel our Sept. trip. I will let the wife decide after the facts are revealed.

We are arriving tomorrow and leaving June 3. We only have to buy one magic band for SDFP (we have one borrowed one already). We were planning on using SDFP this week. Do you think it would be a waste of money or would we be okay using them through May 31? Thanks for your help!

I never did the whole extra MB thing, but we were given extra FP for everyone in our party including the baby who didn't have a ticket. We didn't know how it could so we didn't worry about that one. Later someone told me as long as we had his MB, it would work. So if that happens again in the future, that FP won't work?

If you do decide to "test" this on June 5th or June 6th, please only use your MBs associated with your secondary MDE. It's best to proceed with caution and not use your primary MDE.

You'll only be able to book for the date of the Party and only for MK. Party tickets are very specific as to the FP booking window they open.

I'm assuming either TOS are being added to the kiosks -or- FP+ system and front gate are now "talking" to each other. Am I close?

I suppose we knew this day would come eventually. That doesn't make it suck any less though.

It's very likely the FP won't be valid.

Bummer for sure! At this point for an October trip I already had MNSSHP tix associated with a secondary MDE. Will the "2nd set" of FP still work for the day of a MNSSHP from 4-7pm? We will enter MK for the full day using our normal tickets with booked FP, then go to the party. Assuming we can still use our normal MDE account FP for the day, but also book additional FP from 4-7pm (or maybe only 4-6pm) with our MNSSHP tickets, correct?

What can they do to your MDE? I assume the SDFPs will work or they won't. What does your MDE account have to do with anything?
