Ok not sure if I should be happy or nervous!! I bought my contract from a seller who had 2 contracts. Both identical except the number of points. One was for 100 one was for 150. I debated for a very long time before deciding on the 100 point contract. Well...the other contract passed rofr yesterday mine hasn't been waived yet. I'll be sick if the other passes and mine gets snatched up. Thoughts?!?

I bought two contracts and they were sent to Disney the same day. One with 200 points and one with 300 points. I have not heard yet on the 300 point so I don't think you should worry at all!

Definitely took their time. I'm not sure what the waiting list looks like, but I think they're focused more on point value now that the 100 point bonus for SS has expired.

I know that is what your broker said about it on the blog, but without 2017 or 2018 points, if you consider time value of money, you would've paid more than $102pp had it gone through. I know they just filled a lot of June wait lists, so we shall see if they keep it up or move onto other UY's. Remember that if you bought June UY points from Disney prior to June 1st for ANY resort, then you'd get 2016 and 2017 points. Now, you can only get 2017 points onwards. Again, only time will tell. We do all this theorizing, and then they'll do something to totally throw us off!

It was still an amazing deal, so I'm bummed it didn't make it through for you.

How do you explain to the lovely mother and father who gave you life that you don't have enough AKL points to support their newfound addiction to Club Level stays multiple times a year? Hint- you don't. You suck it up and quietly buy more AKL points.

Sad update here. While we passed ROFR and went quickly through estoppel, after agreeing to a contract back in MARCH, the seller has backed out of the deal. From the looks of it, prices are up, contracts are few, and we're pretty bummed.

That sucks. I'm so sorry

So exited! Just got news that we passed! I had an old key west contract bought back 3 weeks ago so was hoping this would pass. I knew the price was high so figured that would help us pass!!!!
