2017 Eat To The Beat Concert Series

I'm happier about Air Supply than David Cook who is completely skippable.

Just want to say--my second F&WF, we saw Taylor Dayne perform. I was bummed going in because her music wasn't exactly my thing, but she gave one fantastic show.

Wow that sounds crazy...I would have been in shelter once the lightening started for sure! No matter who was singing.

:) I just moved our trip up to Sept 5-8... Since we are not travelling with children, our availability it a lot easier this time.

I'd rather see the still to be determined than some of the other bands on that list. Yikes!!! I think I saw a few on VH1 special- where are they now. Lol

Wow, I really wish I was going to be there for 10,000 Maniacs and Toad the Wet Sprocket back to back! I'll be there for Sister Hazel weekend, then my main trip will be during Kenny G Billy Ocean week, not as exciting but we will make it work!

What kills me about these shows is that disney apparently forces some of the bands to play the exact same set each show. Id stay longer if i could hear some variety.

Great news we get to see Big Bad Voo Doo Daddy! One of my favorite bands!

I'm not sure I believe that Disney forces them to. I saw Hanson perform 2014-2016 and although they repeat certain songs, they've never done the same exact set each time.

No fast passes and no Chase wrist bands since no lounge just stand by and dining package I believe

Thanks for this info! Not to be "that person" but now that we're in the middle of it all, do you (or anyone else) happen to know for sure that there are no FP or wristbands? Just standby and dining packages?

I've been going to these concerts for many years and now that I live near the parks I see pretty much every group. What I will say is that I think as every year passes it gets easier and easier to get good seats for these shows.I think its mostly due to there just being more groups playing the festival and many of them are just not major draws, they're good groups but there's only a handful
that really bring in the people.I was just there for American Authors yesterday, good group, much more current than the majority of the other groups playing and 5 minutes before showtime for both the first and second shows the theater was close to half empty. It did mostly fill up once they started playing but this is getting more and more common with only a few groups like Air Supply or Boys II Men being exceptions.I see at most a handful of people each show with the dining plan stickers, its just not needed,so yes, just standby and dining plan.

Big Bad Voodoo is a fantastic act. Saw them in Vegas recently and they killed it. Should be amazing outdoors in that setting!
