I need some personal care supplies delivered to our resort for our disabled daughter. We arrive in 5 days and but can order what we need from Amazon Prime. Is it too late to order today? $5 a package, correct? Plus tip if I have them bring it to our room...
I can't speak to the package fee, but I would think it's not too late to order - yesterday, today, tomorrow or even the day after, so long as you do have Prime.

If you have Amazon Prime, go to https://primenow.amazon.com/ and see if they have what you need. You can order stuff same day and they will get it to you within a two hour window. $20 minimum, no delivery fee, online tip suggested

Amazon Prime is generally two days, but look at the actual delivery dates before putting the sale through. Some Prime items take longer.

But yes, with five days to go before your arrival and two days for delivery today shouldn't be too late.

I am shipping to All-Star Sports for my arrival next week, I should not have any issues with a UPS shipment correct?

Thanks!

Great information! Shipping from amazon sounds a lot easier then trying to arrange for grocery delivery!

Hope that ends up being the case. I placed an order thru Amazon Pantry earlier this week and the process was relatively easy. The only issue I ran into was I finalized my list 3 days before placing my order, so when I went to place it 2 items were no longer in stock. Luckily, those items wern't that important or I found a replacement.

The one issue I did run in to is the delivery date. We will be arriving at the POP Century Tuesday, so I waited until the delivery date would be Monday so it would be there when we arrive. The day after I ordered I got a delivery sent notification email that had the delivery date for Friday (today) The one time I didn't want an item to delivered early and it was. :rotfl2:

If you didn't place your order yet, I'd suggest you add your arrive date after your name for the shipping address.

Oh you'll have to update me and let me know how it works out! We don't go until December.

If I remember, I definitely will!

Just got my notification from Amazon that our package arrived at the resort, so hopefully it will be in our room, along with our checked luggage on Tuesday.

We were also planning on doing an Amazon NOW purchase when we arrived, but I think we've got enough from Pantry to tide us over. They were charging $17 for a 24pk of 12oz water at the values, :confused3 which is just highway robbery, but I read that they dropped it down to $7 which isn't. We're a Pepsi family and need our caffeine, so the thought of Coke for a week is not appealing. It's too bad they don't offer Mr. Pibb and/or Mellow Yellow, both Coke products, that would make things so much easier. At $7 I think we will skip NOW, but if it's $17 we may need to place an order.

Does anyone know for sure how the resorts charge for water/pop delivery? I know it's $5 a package, but if we bough 2 cases of water and two pops and they wern't in a bag together, could they possibly charge a $20 delivery fee?

Does anyone know for sure about the water cost?

The $5 charge per package will reduce the number of people sending food to value resorts. We're driving in so will be taking $1.99 case (24) of water from Aldi.

We stayed at WL at the beginning of June. We were not charged for our Amazon Prime Now order as it is considered a grocery delivery and goes to Bell Services. I also had a regular delivery from Amazon that I had sent to Bell Services, I picked it up from there, and was not charged (though I was totally prepared to pay the $5 for this if I had been charged).

We were at the POP Century from June 13-20th and had a Amazon Pantry order. we were not charged for the package and we tried to tip the person who delivered it to the room, but she said they weren't allowed to accept tips. :confused3

Is that at a specific resort, or is that the price across the board now? That would definitely change my game plan for any deliveries!

I've read that the moderates and above have been $6.99 and the value, at least some' were $17. We were at the POP Century last month and they were $6.99, but I don't know if that is the price at all the values. I was told it was a new item and some of the cashiers at the food court were not even aware they existed.

The reduction in price also changed our delivery plans. We placed an Amazon Pantry order before our vacation and were planning on doing Amazon NOW order if the cases of water were $17. With lower cost and conflicting reports on package fees, $5 per order or $5 per package, we decided against a delivery service.

Good to know, thanks! We'll be at AoA at the end of August, and would skip the NOW delivery if that price applies there!

Glad I was able to be somewhat helpful. I was planning on asking about AoA water prices, since we ate there a few times, but forgot too.

One of the other reasons we were thinking of getting a Amazon NOW delivery was for pop/soda. We are not a Coke family so a week of only Coke products was kinda a pain. Also not really Pepsi drinkers, but we do drink Mt. Dew or Dr. Pepper. We probably ate or took a bus to/from AoA a few extra times because unlike The POP, the AoA food court did offer Mello Yello, Cokes version of Mt. Dew.

If all Disney resorts offer a limited number of Coke Freestyle machines I woulda gladly paid an extra buck for a cup or $5 for a refillable mug for access! :thumbsup2

Has anyone ever had wine/beer delivered from Costco to a resort? Costco does not ship, and I can't find any local places who deliver from them.

Thank you!

I am going to Pop Century in September and the only thing my family really drinks is bottled water. If I am reading this correctly Disney sells packages of bottle water now at $6.99 for 24 12ounce bottles? If so, where can these be purchased? Thank you in advance.

Yes you read it correctly, atleast that was the case in June. The cases are purchased at the POPs food court at a register or by asking an employee, if you see one around. They will then have to bring the case out to you since they are kept somewhere in the back.

The process can take a little bit of time, but it is well worth it. For our group of 5 we ended up purchasing 3 or 4 cases over the course of a week. The cases were refrigerated, which was nice, but it did make them a little more difficult to take back to the room. The cold bottles felt good for a few minutes, but by the time I got back to the room my arms were numb. :rotfl2:
