Fantasmic Dining Package Discussion Thread

I'm in Australia - it's 5pm and I'm waiting for our preferred date to click over - it should do so in about 26 minutes LOL. I've talked my husband into the BB Fantasmic dining package and I am SO EXCITED!
Loving all the information, reviews and photos on this site, many thanks to everyone who contributes - we can't wait to see the new show and I will, of course, attempt to post a detailed review for those lucky folks who follow us!

I'm assuming your on the East coast.
I'm in Perth and I found it clicked over at 3am LA time / 6pm here in Perth which would be 8pm your time?
So if it hasn't happened yet you might just have to wait a bit more

Ha yes! Had to wait for 8pm EST before I could make the booking. All done, now we just have to count the days down....!

Great - you guys will have a great time! We are counting down too. We did the BB pkg in 2015 and loved it.
My 11yr old son and I are going to do it again on the 9/30 and can't wait to see the new show : )

I'm very excited for our BB package on the 8/23! Question, though- has anyone gotten the beef off the kids menu? Is it like a small filet, or more like pot roast?

I've watched from the terrace several times before it became a dining package area. The view is ok. It's definitely not premium! The view from the dining areas at the riverfront are way better. But you have to sit on the ground.

Anyone tried the BBQ Tofu at River Belle Terrace? I don't eat meat and do it would depend on what kind of fish they serve.

Has anyone noticed that Fantasmic Dining package isn't available for Mama Melrose starting in Janunary 2018? I tried booking at the 180 day mark for the whole trip and it didn't show up. I searched for the other two and they were there for all of January but not that one.

I'd settle for 60days!

Disney is so inconsiderate when it comes to posting event schedules and opening dining/event reservations!

I'm still waiting to book WOC dessert package for Oct 4. There is nothing online for October 1st on.
I even called today to see if I was missing something.

Had a delightful chat with a CM. Didn't get anything accomplished with the call as far as reservations go.
He did tell me he felt the pain of not having the October schedule too.

I'd like to see the people responsible for scheduling, have to answer phones when they haven't posted it.
Then they could see what they are putting their staff through when they neglect to get the schedules out.

I hear ya! Was in the same boat last month. They were late getting days in Sept out too. They don't even have all the parade/entertainment schedule out past Sept 10! A month away. A month. And I still can't plan my vacation. Meanwhile in WDW, people have had their dinners planned for 6 months. I'm just asking for 60 days for pete's sake!

It's a small filet, served with grapes, broccoli, and I think one other side item. The beef was very tender, and DD8 devoured it happily. DD4 had the salmon, and was thrilled that it came with a serving of spaghetti with marinara sauce, in addition to her veggies and grapes.

i believe the butterscotch parfait is at River Belle not BB
BB desert for kids is a fondant chocolate cake

At one point, people were thinking that both places were butterscotch pudding since they have not published a dessert menu for Bb. So glad it isn't the case!

The steps around the anchor are controlled by "regular" Fantasmic CMs, rather than Guest Relations (plaids) that control VIP Seating. CMs seem to use this area to "accommodate" guests, that must sit or other issues.

Is the steps' seating for the guests with Dining Packages or with DAS or for anyone?
