November park hours updated

Thanks for the info.

It doesn't seem you can make any fastpass selections for 8 am to 9 am. Am I'm missing something here?

I had read in another thread that the hours were changed first, FPs offered the next day, so maybe tomorrow?

So here is my question... I haven't been since the modified open procedure. What does an 8am open look like now?

I did a 8AM opening this past Sunday and everyone was let in 7:45ish. The welcome show at the castle was 7:55. That’s the only 8am I’ve done since the new procedure so not sure if that’s the norm.

I especially love the 7am EMH at MK. There’s next to no one around for quite some time those mornings!

Kinda bummed AK didn’t get any evening extensions though. I was hoping AK would at least get added into a regular PM EMH rotation. Oh well.

Does anyone know factually what the park hours for MK was last year the first week of December? Different websites are showing different times for me. I'm just curious if this year's park hours increase is normal or if this is not normal for the first week of December.

Hoping the hours for the second week in December also get extended. I'd love to go to a 7AM MK opening. Normally I hate early mornings but at Disney they allow us to do so much.

Does anyone forsee any extension in hours for HS the week of Thanksgiving? Seems they are usually open later with 2 showings of F! I know things are influx there now....just wondering if anyone thinks we will see more changes yet.

FYI:
At some point this afternoon or evening Disney updated November park hours. Many changes to MK Hours including 8am start time most days and much later hours on non- party nights. Guess that's why they didn't offer EMM on November.

It seems the hours for the other parks have not drastically changed.

The Week of October 28-November 4th MK opens at 9am. I am so glad!

If it happened Saturday morning then I missed it. I got up early to try, but I only saw Enchanted Tales with Belle available. Could it be the rides don't have early fastpasses when it opens at 8 am? I can't see how I wouldn't see some ride, any ride for 8 am or 8:30 am fastpass.

Can someone just confirm they were able to get rides at 8 am to 9am on those days of earlier openings. Thanks.

I stayed up until midnight to see if FPs for 7D were added 8 - 9. Then called it quits and woke up at 6 to try again. I only see ETWB still in that time slot. I want to stop checking already and have a busy day! I logged in here to ask the same question. Hopefully someone answers with some concrete info so I don't obsessively check all day!

I think there is something going on with ETWB specifically because I have been trying for a while to move mine earlier with no availability. Now there are several slots in the 8pm hour. But the 8pm hour isn't actually affected by the hour extensions.

I noticed that ROL is now being offered 2x a week. But AK hours weren’t extended?

I see that. Now I understand why my dining package says 1st show. I had been wondering if there was going to be a second show option. Could this mean more dining packages in later slots might be offered?

Just in case, you can't get Fastpasses for the 7 am to 7:59 am because that's the extra magic morning hour. The regular park opening is 8 am and that's when Fastpasses should begin at regular park openings.

I did notice more 9 am openings for Fastpasses then what I've seen in the past. My date is 12-1.

I was checking for Nov 12 and started checking at 5am EST this morning, and the only 8-9 range I saw was ETWB. Boo.

With these new hours, what do you think MK will be like during the 12 am - 2 am EMH hours? Is it still super crowded? It will be a Saturday (Veteran's Day)

Hours were changed last year too for 8 am openings at MK week prior to thanksgiving ... it was much more crowded than prior years but still ok.
