@WDWKOOK , @Wood Nymph and all,

We just got back from our trip Oct 26th - Nov1st stayed at BRV Studio, 2 adults and one teen. Again I want to thank all who stay and answer the same questions on this thread! :worship: You all do it with grace and style - LOVE it! My intentions was to verify if fall transportation differed from other seasons and to see if Copper Creek created longer waits/full transportation as a whole.

Unfortunately I was sick during our trip. I have two full park days left on my five day ticket. :sad2: The times I got out to meet my family was during dinner then watched fireworks or a show and returned to BRV immediately. Now I'm not sure how or what magical spell was cast but I can say every time I went to the dock or bus stop I was able to board without any wait! AMAZING!!!

HS did stop at Contemporary and one night Oct 29th the boat ride from MK was so cold 57° when I left MK at 6:45pm and dropping :cold:. Maybe the temp, humidity and being sick made it feel like freezing temps but I brought a coat and merino wool shawl & gloves and was snug as a bug but others felt it to the bone!

Again THANK YOU ALL so very much for your helpful suggestions and excellent advise. :thanks:

There definitely might be something up---We are booked for a week in late August and are wanting to add a day. It seems like all of the Standard and Courtyard view rooms are sold out that week now. Is that normal?
Some of it might be due to a travel agency that a lot of people use having such a great price compared to the other deluxes which went up in price for the standard view. AKL and WL standard views had the lowest prices for the end of August.
I'm not sure about the courtyard views?

We booked a studio at Copper Creek and super excited! What is the tub/shower combo like or should we have booked shower only? Also, anyone know the size of the coffee maker? TIA

Congratulations on the upcoming stay.
The shower / tub is like in the regular rooms at WL, while the shower only ones have a glass shower door. The tub ones seem to be in higher demand, but we don’t know much about which rooms are located where.

As for the coffee maker, I don’t know the size but it does have a small pot as shown in this review:

We booked a studio BRV Oct 30-Nov 2 and were placed in a Copper Creek studio. Was that considered an upgrade? I haven't stayed at either one (stayed in VWL 2-bedroom) before so wasn't sure if there is a difference. I asked the CM at check-in if it was an upgrade and she didn't know.

We had a shower only and I loved it. The coffee maker was full-size (10-12 cup.)

I would consider it one! Just because they're brand new and fewer have stayed in them compared to the original VWL rooms. Can you answer if the bed was a regular spring type mattress or something more similar to foam? I'm just curious because I saw someone say it was a foam mattress in another thread but haven't been able to confirm.

You my friend are extremely lucky! :)

I think Disney is charging more for them so they probably considered it so. Then it just depends on the person if you consider it an upgrade or not! They might also be using it as a sales tool - ie, move people from BRV periodically to CCV and see if they generate interest in purchasing.

One difference is that BRV studio has the Murphy bed and sleeps 5 but I'd guess you didn't need that since CCV is an occupancy of 4 in the studios.

I didn't check out the type of mattress, but it was supportive and comfortable.

I had not researched Copper Creek and specifically wanted to see the BRV murphy bed because I usually travel with 3 DGs. However, it was just DH and I so I was happy with the new room and the location in the main building.

Good to hear! Probably helps that it's brand new, as well. I had a really saggy bed at both the original WL room in June and the Bay Lake room a month ago. But I think I'm so used to a foam mattress everything else feels lumpy!
