After 2 auto accidents, spinal neck surgery, arthritis, bakers cysts - I have pain standing and walking too far. After going to the Disneyland City Hall for accommodation with a very pleasant and kind Demeanor requesting "fastpass" I was told that I would have to have a cane, wheelchar or... He said we have another category of condition "we could put you down as someone who could be dangerous to yourself or others" I said, "but, that would be a lie - I have my medical records showing proof that I have medical difficulties that cause pain and limit my standing and walking." He stated that normally those are the only conditions where I can give provision and said ok, I'll give you a few fast passes, but next time bring a cane. I went with my daughter to see light show and it was unbearably crowded and no where to sit. I saw bench seats and asked if I could sit down as I have trouble standing. I was told that those were for make a wish and some other special group... So we sat on the filthy ground like sardines. There is inadequate seating at the park because they oversell. We bought passes that evening and it was super packed. So, we decided that we would return to see the Christmas light show and fireworks on the 8th of Dec.(beyond that, the rest of the month was blockout) but, we couldn't because we were threatened by the Lilac fire on the 8th. So, we went that following Friday night @ 8:00 PM THINKING MAYBE THERE WOULD BE SOME KIND CONSIDERATION OR COMPASSION OR KINDNESS, given the circumstances - maybe I would have to only pay a bit more or get an exception pass since we were really only there to spend 4 hours and see the light show AND SINCE THE FIRE CHANGED OUR PLANS, BUT - NO! We had to pay $120. For 4 HRS (EVEN THOUGH I HAVE AN ANNUAL PASS) I believe that Walt Disney would not approve of the STERN BUSINESS FACE of The Disney of today. They are greedy and unloving and they've lost the moral compass..TV evidences that! Conclusevely, I'll leave them to the elements (as Christ holds them together), the determining force that weighs the heart and mind of mankind and whose power moves the wind, sets the temperature, shakes the earth, and drives the moisture - the waves of the sea... Without Christ - (TRUTH) Without God (Love) there is no covering.

I don't know if we should respond or report? Anyway,
I believe that Walt Disney would not approve of the STERN BUSINESS FACE of The Disney of today. They are greedy and unloving

Walt Disney was a business man. The Walt Disney Company is an entity, not a person with feelings or emotions or beliefs or whatever.

Guests with difficulty standing are advised, even expected, to resolve such issues using a mobility device - such as a cane.

If you can't stand for very long, why didn't you just rent a wheelchair for the evening?

Yes, why did you not rent a wheelchair? You do not have to sit in it all the time. You can push it when you can and sit in it when you need a break this would solve all your problems. and then you would not have to worry about finding a seat or have to sit on the ground.

Not much point in leaving this Open.

If someone has difficulty with standing or walking, the most appropriate accommodation is to use a wheelchair, ECV or other mobility device. You don’t need any pass or other ‘permission’ to use a mobility device in lines and attractions.

There is a lot of walking and standing involved in a trip to any theme park. Most attractions do not have anywhere to sit unless the guest has brought a seat with.
