For any reason

I will start
Scary Movie - couldn't stand it
Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogs - awful

I hated any film I didn't love/like in terms of I don't want to waste my time on watching something that doesn't interest me. There are literally too many to list.

As a child I never really saw any movies that I hated. I was usually watching at home, so If I wasn't liking it I'd turn it off or just go do something else if everyone else was watching it. I was pretty discerning, even then, and usually gave no time to anything that didn't look interesting. I don't think I started seeing movies and then being disappointed in them until later in life. As a teenager I can vividly recall watching Mission: Impossible, and generally liking it until the Jim Phelps reveal. I HATE that movie and will never support the franchise after they pulled that mess. I wanted to walk out!

I remember being little and terrified of the commercial on TV for the movie Magic. I think Anthony Hopkins was in it.

I remember going to a theater to see "Close Encounters of the Third Kid" as a kid with my dad... i did not like that movie... want say i hated it, but don't like it!

Defcon 4, as a very young kid who stayed up, or was woken up, to hang out with dad late at night. It may be why I'm afraid of cannibals. My parents are amazing parents, and people, but my childhood was singular.

Sleeping Beauty! Malificent scared the heck outta me!

Specifically the bit where the princess follows the eerie light...

Swiss Family Robinson and nope I dinna prefer the book.
Any Tarzan movie sent me straight to Groan City.
Pollyanna

Any scary/horror movie my parents dragged me to when they wanted to go to the drive-in movies. There was a playground right up by the movie screen, and all the kids would play up there before the movies started, plus we'd get snacks from the concession stand but then as soon as the movies started I was told to "lay down and go to sleep" in the back seat. I couldn't always go to sleep, or I'd wake up, and hear screams and scary sounding music. Occasionally I would sit up and get a glimpse of something scary too. :( It's no wonder I slept with the covers over my head until I was a teenager.

There was one - I forget the name.

It was part live, part stop motion animation. Something to do with the Minotaur.

I just remember that it was set aeons ago yet had vapour trails in the sky and digital watches.

Whoops.

This movie scare the you know what out of me. I was around jr. high age. I always hated ventriloquist but this movie clenched it for me. NO DUMMIES!!! Though, I have been wanting to find it and watch it again for some crazy reason :):)

the Muppets! Any movie involving the Muppets. HATE HATE HATE.

Nowadays, I'm not a huge fan but can sit through the attraction at WDW and such. As a kid I pitched a fit about going in.

Willow. (I think that was the name)

Hocus Pocus. Movie freaking terrified me. I was at a neighbor's house and ran our screaming/crying when. They sucked Emily's soul out. My DH was astounded when I told him it terrified me. He made me watch it. Yeah, I was a big baby when I was a kid.

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang because the Child catcher gave me a nightmare. I still remember it vividly .

Luckily, now I can watch it and like it..
