Is FOP still a tough FP at 60 days?

Absolutely! I tried getting a FastPass at the 60-day mark at 9:30am. Our trip is for four days in mid-January (which is a slower time of year), and I couldn't find anything for FoP until day four in the evening! They we already almost gone.

My fastpass day is tomorrow. I arrive on March 13th and my AK day is March 18. I'll post how it goes.

Yep no problem getting my fastpass. I had more issue getting sdmt in the morning on day 3 of my trip. No times in the morning. Fop I managed to get for 9:15

Wow what day did you get fop for? I’m really worried our ak Day is going to be busy.

It was day 6 but when I went in September with the same situation I wasn't able to get one so it does show that things are sliwing down on the FOP front.

Navi River is easy to get, it's still available for all days of my trip next month so roughly 40-50 days out

There is a good reason for that. I love Pandora at night and I think Flight of Passage is one of the best rides ever. But that River Journey would have been much better as a moving sidewalk attraction. I was able to ride more easily on standby early and late.

Yes, the FP is tough to get. And it’s really necessary. This morning at rope drop, the standby line started barely inside of the AK entry area. By a few minutes past opening, the wait time was 210 minutes - 3 and 1/2 hours! I overheard a woman talking about arriving at the parking lot at 7 am for 9 am opening so that she and her sister could run like crazy at rope drop. And, yes, they realized that this was the same as waiting the 120 minutes in line.

Meanwhile, we’ve were doing Na’vi River FP first thing this morning, and that standby line was 90 minutes when we finished. The pleasing result of all the Pandora craziness is that Bug’s Life and everything at Dinoland were walk-ons which we breezed through before 11:00 am with Everest and Safari afternoon FPs remaining.

I think this is a good idea. Get FP for Pandora for later and the rest of the Park early. Like the old Hollywood Studio Days. If you could skip Toy Story early the rest of the Park was beautiful for a few hours at opening.

Has anyone tried for an early morning FOP FP? I would really like to get a 9 or 9:30 on 60+6 for a group of 5. Does that seem doable or is that a pipe dream? My fallback is to get something around noon that day but it would complicate my touring plan.

I was at AK the week after Xmas and stayed offsite. I was able to get any other FP+ by refreshing on the app (always took the first time that popped up and refreshed it until I got a time that worked for us), but never saw a Pandora FP+ even for 1 person in the days just before or the entire time I was in the park.

I’ve spent a total of about 2 hrs over the last 3 days refreshing for a party of 1 for the same day. I saw Na’vi come up 6 times and FOP 2x. I’m sure it happens for people but it looks like you have to be pretty lucky. Based on my experiments it looks very unlikely to me that I could get overlapping times for my family of 5. I’m sure I’ll still spend some time trying but I’m not holding my breath.

I just got one for FOP on March 16th and there were only two more left, both in the evening. On the 18th it looked like there were several available for FOP but I went with Na'vi in case we don't get to it on the 16th.
