Did you have imaginary siblings or friends when you were a child?

I didn't but my sister had a friend named keebus. No idea why.

How about you? Any imaginary siblings or friends?

I knew a guy that had one. His dad got really frustrated that they always had to set a place for him at the table etc. One day he just opened the car door and pretended to shove him out of the moving car. My friend just shrugged his shoulders and thought I guess he's gone now. Sounds kind of traumatic but the way he told it....hysterical!!

No, but my daughter had several. She talked to them, played tea with them etc, but she didn't expect the rest of us to act like they were there or participate in any way.

Yes, The Beatles (no I'm not joking). But I do know I kept it sort of "in my head", my parents didn't know and I didn't ask for anyone to pretend to interact with them. I don't remember when I grew out of it.

Nope, I'm the youngest of 6, there were enough kids around between my brother's friends and mine that our house was full enough of kids as it was.

Not me, but my currently 5 year old niece had one when she was about 3. She was super descriptive and consistent about it that she managed to convince her teachers and people who didn't know her very well that this sibling was real. It was a baby sister named Canada

I had an entire universe that lived in the bottom of my bunk bed (I slept on the top) and was constantly making up stories about the goings on of the bunny people and the scrabbers...My mom said it was pretty dark stuff. I remember making up the stories and the 2 factions very well. That may not be a true imaginary friend?

I did but only in my head. I also had imaginary daughters, only in my head. I was a mom of twins, Tracy and Stacy.

No....and I was an only child. My cousin was over like every day and I saw a neighbor friend my age almost daily too though.

I love this! Please, tell us more about your interactions with your Beatle friends!

Mom and Dad provided me with lots of younger siblings.......there were days I would have soooooo taken an imaginary friend!! :teeth:

Yes. His name was Richard, which happened to be the name of my dads brother who died when he was 13. Kinda freaked my parents out.

I used to make up stories about the Aztecs when I was 9 or 10, my Mom said. Must of learned about them in a Geography class.

I always heard about this in movies and tv shows, but never really knew anyone who had an imaginary friend. I have wondered how widespread it was, and now am wondering if it has become more or less common today as compared to when I was young.
