Which signature dining restaurants?

DH and I will be staying at the WL in August with our two kids ages 6 and 9. Which of these signatures (up to two) do you think we should try to hit:

Narcoosees (I've never been)
Califrornia Grill
Artist Point
Jiko - (I've never been) would probably put kids in Simba's Club which would up the price....

We will not be on the dining plan and my DH may have a stroke over the prices, but we do like nice meals. Maybe they have menus without the prices I can get him? (semi-serious!)

Narcoossee's is our all time favorite signature. We go every trip and on each occasion had a wonderful experience. The food is so delicious, we enjoy the atmosphere, which is not too upscale but yet you get the feeling that you are dining in a special place. The location is beautiful. If you are lucky to get a window seat you can catch views of the castle and The Contemporary. We like taking the boat from the MK over to the GF, just allow some extra time to get there. You can also take the monorail if you do not have a car. It is a good signature to bring kids to as well. It can get a bit louder in there compared to other places. But, I still find it pleasant and relaxing.

Jiko’s is my favorite! You get a free hour at Simba’s if you eat at Jiko’s so that will help somewhat.

We ate at Cali Grill this past weekend. It was nice, amazing view. But the food was excessively salty, and basically inedible. We ate about 2 bites of our dinners and couldn’t stomach anymore

Jiko, and either CG or AP. I've not experienced the restaurant recently, but the reviews coming out of Narcoosee's as of late seem to indicate inconsistency in quality. Don't know if you're decided on that list, but based on what I'm reading as of late, you might want to consider Bluezoo (alternative to seafood at Narcoosee's) or Shula's (what many consider to be the best steak on property) at the Swan & Dolphin. These two are currently at the top of my own to-do list.

I’m so happy to read a good review of Narcoossees. There’s a lot of negative reviews here. If I hadn’t read so many stellar reviews elsewhere, we would have canceled our reservation. Thanks.

NO to Artist Point - terrible food and abysmal service.

Jiko was good and Cali Grill was also good. I would choose Cali Grill just for the atmosphere :)

Narcoosees didn't impress us, sadly!

How recent was this? We haven't eaten at AP in years, but it was very, very good when we did. We've got an upcoming stay at WL and considered this an option for dinner one night.

It was 4-5 years ago. But it was bad enough to make us not want to go back. Yachtsman Steakhouse will always be our go-to.

Thanks. I'll have to look and see what's happening over there before we book.

Yachtsman Steakhouse will always be our go-to.

Just went there a few weeks ago. Filet was as good as I've had anywhere but the lobster and desert for us were just okay. I'd definitely go back, but I need to check out Shula's as it's supposed to be the best in WDW according to people who have done all the steakhouses.

Unfortunately the kids clubs will be closing at the end of July, in case that impacts your decision.

I like Le Cellier, Tiffins and California Grill. We are trying Yachtsman for the first time on our next trip.

Artist Point is my favorite and Jiko is my wife’s favorite. Narcoossee’s was good. We didn’t really enjoy California Grill.

As far as I know, they don’t offer menus without prices. I’ve asked at a few places in the past.

We did not like Le Cellier. Narcoosee's was pretty good, but thought Yachtsman was better. The best signature meal we've had at Disney was California Grill brunch, but it is pricey.

My family votes for Jiko and Narcoosee’s, but we have enjoyed them all. My 9 year old daughter says California Grill edges in there but only if you view the fireworks while you dine. I will say that we love Narcoosee’s for the butter poached lobster tail which is super pricey. If you aren’t getting that, I can’t soeak for the other entre’s there. You have great choices! You will enjoy them all!

Jiko or AP. I had one horrible meal at Narcoossee's and will not go back, as I really disliked the atmosphere, service and food, have had multiple poor meals at CG and would prefer not to return, although I would if we had someone in our group who really wanted to go, because I enjoy the atmosphere and service, I just have yet to have a descent meal there. That said, there are people who strongly support and dislike each of these restaurants, I would go with the menu/location that appeals to you most.
