Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Well...according to some we all book CL to feel like we have a special "status" to talk about :rolleyes1
It isn't? That's the only reason I book cl. I like the bragging rights lol. I really don't even tell most people irl that I have cl booked. I usually just say which resort. Now I have 2 friends that always go around the same time as me and we are always talking disney. I tell them because they are always trying to talk me intiinto renting a villa.

Yeah, people think you are out of your mind for paying those rates so it's best to not mention it. :rotfl2:

I contacted DSS to add a room request to my GF ressie. This is the first time I have used them since I don't really need them to do anything and don't normally make room requests. I was very impressed...I got a response from them in less than 10 minutes...from a real person not an automated reply. :thumbsup2 They were probably so happy to get a request for something other than FP's. :rotfl2: Now to see if I get my request...to be continued...

Come on you have to flaunt it, be proud of it. When we stayed at AKL CL two years ago I used to wait for crowds to gather at the elevators so everyone could see me use my band for the exclusive ride to the CL floor;)
Sorry for my posts today, woke up with my wise a** gene in high gear.

Guess I will have to be sure to wipe the smug, superior smirk off my face as I touch my MB to the button on the elevator...Your wise a** gene must be related to mine.

If you've stayed at the Poly, there seems to be a separate CL area outside for viewing the fireworks? I had been considering doing the Tomorrowland dessert party, but if the view from the Poly beach is good, then that sounds way preferable.

Poly CL only has reserved beach fireworks viewing for the special July 4th and NYE fireworks. There isn’t reserved viewing any other time.

Have you seen HEA before?

I consider the view from the Poly beach very good, but it’s a different “show” than being in the MK. HEA has a lot of projections on the castle that really enhance the overall experience.

My first choice would be to be in the MK for HEA if possible. On any given trip, we’ll typically do both - watch HEA from inside the MK one night, then we’re happy to watch from the Poly beach on other nights.

Hope that helps!

We've never caught any of the fireworks, because I have little kids who can't hang. :) Maybe we'll do the beach on our first day, then stay at MK on day 2, just because of the ridiculously early wake up for our flight before day 1.

Thanks for the info! You rock.

That’s kind of how we got hooked on Poly CL... we never wanted to really push bedtimes much past normal times and staying at Poly gave us (the adults) an opportunity to get them to bed and still get in a bit of MK firerworks, the EWP, etc. Or if we do let them stay up, we can get them quickly to bed after the show. It was/is a huge benefit for us. :-)

Does anyone know if they have added the Swan and Dolphin to this offer yet? I saw elsewhere that the Swolphin suites would be included, even though they aren't CL. In this thread only the actual WDW CL's are mentioned.

Can anyone tell me if I can do this... We are staying 3 nights AKL Club Level. We are checking out on Saturday. Can I buy the extra fastpasses for just Saturday of my trip?

Here is the list of eligible resorts/room types from what I’ve read:
  • Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – Cabins
  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Club Level
  • Disney’s Beach Club Resort - Club Level
  • Disney’s BoardWalk Inn – Club Level
  • Disney’s Contemporary Resort – Club Level
  • Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa – Club Level
  • Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort – Club Level
  • Disney’s Polynesian Village Villas & Bungalows – Bungalows
  • Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – Club Level
  • Disney’s Yacht Club Resort – Club Level
  • Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels – Presidential Suites, Governor Suites, Parlor Suites, Premium Alcove Rooms
I assume that Cabin, Bungalow, and Swan/Dolphin suite guests contact DSS to book just like CL guests (but that’s an assumption on my part).

It’s a 3 day minimum, so you can’t just buy the extra FPs for one day. Is that what you mean?

At Disney food prices, that should be easy peasy. $88/day is an awesome price for CL upgrade!

Although if you believed to the CL-FP thread on TPAS, we only get potato chips and sodas in CL. And status! Yep. ;-)

I do intend to eat those lonely chips and drink a soda or two so I guess I'm living it up! We went from BC LV to YC GV CL. I figured for that price it was a no-brainer!
