One guy had a RIDICULOUSLY long rifle, like several feet... he then proceeded to screw on a long silencer! He couldn't miss! Actually, yeah, turns out he could miss... as it turns out, it made the rifle front heavy, and that's pretty useless for target shooting

Guns in general I don't. All guns I respect for their destructive force. I own and operate a match air rifle - very low power, high accuracy. But I still respect it and it stays, when not in use, in the club armoury, behind three reinforced doors. You may see this as overkill, but I see it like this: it's still a gun. And it will stay locked up.
