OP, no special characters or any extras in the prior two years. Just rides and 'free' popcorn/sodas/ice cream. The first Disney After Hours event for 2018 is this coming Friday so we'll soon see if any different this year... although I suspect it'll be the same.

ETA: Last year, in terms of traditional character meets, but Mickey at Town Square Theater and Princess Fairytale Hall were open during DAH.
