Just a fun poll, what do you think is the most over-rated (or most sought after that doesn't deserve it) dining experience at WDW?

There are several over-rated restaurants (including most of the ones on the poll), but the very most over-rated one has to be BOG! I've had better lunch in a high school cafeteria.

California Grill...when we went, service was awful and the sides that came with the main dishes were inedible, over cooked and seasoned horribly.

I'd also put Coral Reef on the list. Food was underwhelming and service was abysmal... wrong meal brought out three times.

For us it was California Grill. It was so salty it was inedible.
i've started to feel that way too. Been there three times since the refurbishment, and at all 3 visits i had pretty crappy meals. Never again, i promise you.
So sad cause it use to be my fave place.

Ohana is at the top of my list though. Food is very very poor in quality, it blows my mind. Just terrible.

Sci-Fi— the food was not good, and they just play a bunch of old trailers on the screen. Plus, the seating arrangements can get uncomfortable.

As for Beaches and Cream, the meal made me sick. I literally had to run to the bathroom. My husband had to send his meal back. So we didn’t get to the desserts they are famous for. It was a hard-to-get ADR, and there’s no way I’m working for one again just to get some ice cream.

For me it's always Akershus. I have been a few times just for the princesses and the food is never EVER worth the pricetag. The portions are small as well. Thank God they have that little sorry cold buffet to tide you over.

You think you were made ill from their food right there in the restaurant? It seems that diners often don't realize they are coming down with something and blame their illness on the last thing they consumed. It's hard to imagine you ate something that sent you running to the bathroom right then and there! Even if you were sick later, it would take lab test to prove you had food poisoning and the food would have to be tested to pinpoint it as the source.

Can I only pick one?! O'hana, definitely. We've eaten here at least 5 times over the last 10 years and it was barely recognizable as the place we used to enjoy when we ate there just a few weeks ago. Barely any entertainment, rushed, impersonal service and a ton of meat just plopped on plate without asking what I wanted or how much. It was really terrible - no coconut races, no limbo, nada.

Cali Grill - the food just isn't up to par with some of the other signatures on property. Too much rice in the sushi rolls and my scallops were so spicy I could barely eat them. The view barely made up for the lackluster food.

It's ok, though. There are so many underrated gems in WDW, IMHO, so the good tends to make up for the bad, IMHO.

Le Cellier - squished in like cattle in a pen . . . anything on the menu that isn't steak is just an after thought, and cooked that way. Servers were okay, but front of house staff were pretty rude to us, and everyone else we saw them interact with while we waited 45 minutes for our ADR.

Only 45 minutes? We waited over an hour and a half past our ADR time.

Oh my goodness - 1 1/2 hours! I guess I shouldn't complain! I hope at least your meal was fantastic. Mine and my son ordered the chicken - yes, I know, chicken at the steakhouse! - and both our meals were inedible. The cheese plate and pot of pressed coffee saved me, but the $$$$ is ridiculous.
