Joyce & Chuck; Memories 1-15-18 @ Polynesian

30 days today.
BEO signed/returned and final payment made
Picking up wedding dress on 12/22
Need to finalize our ceremony details
Need to make a pair of Mickey Mouse Wedding ears

Went today to pick up my dress after alterations. Had to leave it to have the bodice taken in. Never expected that! Picking up January 10 and we will leave for WDW January 14. Not much wiggle room in case I need something else. I'm also going to have to work fast to complete the embroidery I was going to do on the inside hem.

12 days out and I have the flu! I should be doing last minute stuff but I'm not.

4 days! Gah.

Only 3 things left on my to do list. Pedicure and spray tan on Saturday. This week has been crazy and I feel like I could forget my head if it wasn’t attached to my body. The marriage license fiasco is resolved, see below, and will be delivered to Rev Knox today.

Picked up my dress last night and a also a simply hair accessory. Tomorrow evening my girlfriends are taking me out for the evening.

We leave early Sunday morning and will arrive at noon. My first order of business once I get to the Poly is to get a Pineapple drink at the bar!!!!!!

Well...Monday evening we had our conference call with Rev. Knox. We were talking about the ceremony and he said something about the marriage license. It was at that point that I remembered WE NEED A MARRIAGE LICENSE! I was certain that we were doomed. Rev. Knox provided us with a point of contact and that evening I sent an email to the county officials. We actually got a response at 8:30pm CST/9:30pm EST saying that they would help us and to not lose hope. Tuesday morning the clerk was working on our file and emailed us the documents. We had them notarized and returned back via FedEx. They were delivered this morning, processed by the county and sent via FedEx to Rev. Knox. I owe the county clerk a HUGE thank you and we are sending him a basket of goodies. If we had waited any longer then we would have had a HUGE MESS on our hands.

Don't be like me!

I am in bed awake and my alarm is set to go off in 3 hours for our 6:30am flight. Got everything packed and ready to go. If I forgot something then I don't need it. I've got post it's all over that say "DON'T FORGET YOUR DRESS"

I modified these white ears that I originally made for our MK photo session to wear after the ceremony. Just added the tiara and birdcage veil. I'm super crafty!

You ladies aren't going to believe the magic that happened yesterday!! Copied from my IG, hence the hashtags.

#SouthwestAirlines is my favorite airline carrier and my first choice when it comes to airline travel. They have proven once again that they CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.
.
@cuckc71 and I left yesterday morning to Orlando for our magical #DisneyWedding. Halfway through our flight I realized we forgot the most important element for the ceremony - the beautiful handmade bag made by my #KidletEntourage and the glass they purchased. Remember the scene from Home Alone? That was me!! The bag and glass is for the #JewishTradition for the groom to break and crush with his right foot at the end of the ceremony.
.
My mother immediately went to the Southwest Airlines ticket counter at San Antonio International Airport, cargo in hand, to see if there was any possible way to get it to us in Orlando. She spoke to Southwest Airlines ticket agent Jacqui Maldonado who very graciously and generously gifted one of her personal round trip buddy passes to my daughter so she could personally deliver it to us. 1161 miles and 1 time zone away, I was expecting a Southwest Airlines messenger. I was surprised to see my daughter in the lobby of the Polynesian Resort with box in hand!
.
Thank you Jacqui and Southwest Airlines for spreading the LUV and helping make our Happily Ever After come true. We are Southwest Airlines customers for life! Mazel Tov!

WIDE AWAKE. Hair/makeup don't arrive for 1.5 hours...I can't believe that today is finally here. All I need to do is write out my thanks yous and look amazing. I'm so happy my daughter is here. It really is amazing how she ended up here. She knows exactly how to fasten my bra and the bustle.

I made these ears for today. We used them for the engagement photos we took at MK. I added the tiara and veil.
