Circle of Life Closing

I'm not really surprised. We were there in January and September and the CMs were almost begging people to go in. Everyone walked right past. I wondered how long it was for this world.

I'm amazed it lasted this long

Per WDWmagic.com this is confirmed, and will be replaced by another show short term, and may be replaced by a different attraction long term

I actually liked the attraction when it first came out, though admit it got very dated over the years. I'm really interested to see what replaces it.

We haven't watched it in years. It was WAY too preachy and heavy-handed for us.

I will be honest, in the 4 times that I've been over the last two years, I've only watched it once. And that was to put my 2 year old to sleep while the rest of the family went to ride Soarin'. I actually thought it was a neat show. Like previously stated, it is very dated, but honestly, a nice break from the standing, the heat (or in our case the cold), and perfect dark location for an infant to fall asleep. I did like it though, sad to see it go. I was going to make it a tradition for me and my little one.

never seen it but since I’m here and it’s closing gave it a try. Blah. Too preachy and almost s bit hypocritical to run at a resort built on wetlands.

Oh well. I can say I saw it. Won’t miss it.

I am sure it is an underutilized attraction anyway, I know we didn't go see it despite spending almost 3 hours in the Land paviliion between Soaring, lunch at Garden Grille and Living with the Land boat ride.

I agree that it is underutilized.

I'm a bit annoyed about this:

Disney Performing Arts will take over the space shortly after the closure for student workshops and performances beginning February 9th, 2018.

This is from here.

So, it sounds to me that this area won't even be used for public shows anymore. Talk about underutilized!

I saw it once because it had a 5 minute wait and I never did it before but my partner and I had both agreed cute but never again. Its really not doing more than once unless you are running out of things to do or need a rest place.

I think they're leaving the area that could become a Brazil Pavilion, so if that happens, a good trade off
That’s what I thought the replacement was. If not I need to make a correction to who knows how many people when I said it out loud in Epcot “circle of life is closing to move the training areas there so they can build Brazil! It’s about time.” I doubt anyone was listening but it helps to be right
