I taught middle school for 30 years and never realized I had a look, until my husband said something I did not agree with one time and he said "don't give me your teacher look". We got a big laugh out of it.

I teach elementary and I know exactly what you mean. I caught myself just the other day giving dh the look and was like “oh no it’s starting”. We don’t have kids yet but I think I’ll have the look perfected by then.

Arrived today and thrilled to be in a refurbished room!! I had requested building 6 and we’re in building 7. Will be utilizing the short cut through the parking lot as we’re on the back facing the parking lot.

Love, love, love the new rooms!!!! Floors not gritty. Tons of storage. My DD is loving the Pluto bed! We have just a shower that works for us but it does seem they have added more shower only rooms in.

Quickly walked by building 5 on our way to a drawing class at Art of Animation. The entire building still appears to be closed but I didn’t get a good look at the Preferred Pool View rooms other than seeing the gates still up. Will check as I have time.

I’ll keep you posted if I notice any changes. Please let me know if you have any questions.

We are park hopping, so lockers wont work for us.

You only need to pay for the locker once. Your receipt will get you a locker at the next park without any additional cost

When we were in the 80s building the wifi was not great, pretty good in the 60s building though.

Why won't they work? You could just grab your stuff out of the locker at the first park and then get a locker at the second park. Keep your receipt from the first locker and you won't have to pay again at the second park. Or maybe I missed something and there's a different reason that the locker won't work for you.

After the discussion on crowds, I decided to watch the Touring Plans Crowd Calendar. Here is what they predicted for yesterday and the actual crowd levels. I’m shocked it’s reached 9 in January!

Oh my...I didn't know you did not have to pay again! I thought you would have to pay at each park. This would work great for us. How much stuff aprx. will the small locker fit?

There are three sizes. I believe the jumbo size holds a carry on suitcase, which might be located outside the park entrance.

• Standard (12.5” X 10” X 17”) $7 per day
• Large (15.5” X 13” X 17”) $10 per day
• Jumbo (17” x 22” x 26”) $15 per day

The weather is beautiful right now, sunny and perfect temp. A lot of rain predicted for this aft and evening though.

The drawing class is free and offered 3x a day at Art of Animation. 11:00, 2:00 and 5:00. A small room to the side of checkin desks. Just show up and learn to draw a character. Yesterday was classic Mickey at our class. Takes 20-30 MB’s. Children and adults welcome. We really enjoy them and often do it on arrival day. Have been known to take DME from the airport and get off at AoA to do the class then walk across to Pop to check in.

Hi everyone! We just booked a standard pool view RO for one night before our BCV ressie. We will be arriving on the later side - no flights booked yet, but planning on an afternoon flight out of Boston so likely won’t be to Pop until 7-8pm.

Any room request suggestions? We will be there until our BCV room is ready for check in. My boys will be 4 years old and 13 mos. We will likely just bring our own luggage to BCV so bring close to both the pool, parking lot AND main building would be nice. Is this possible?

So I was checking my online check in today just because I like to make sure things are right. Before it said 70s and highest floor and when I just looked I had no requests. Not sure how they just disappeared but for anyone else who is like me and wants to check I thought I would let you know.

I've been having issues as well. It only retains my 'top floor' request for some reason and the '70s section' keeps disappearing. I read awhile back that someone called in about it and the CM could see the requests on their end but I'm going to call in if it's still doing it closer to my trip. I do also have a TP fax with the same requests as back up but I'll probably still call Disney.

A week before you check in, you will receive an email requesting you to confirm your check in. Your requests should be listed there.

I always do online check in and have never gotten an email beforehand to confirm check in. I’ve already checked in, I don’t need to confirm it.
